New WR in our future??? R. Moss released.
I have no idea whether the skins would pick him up, but I wouldn't be surprised if there was some sort of interest.

The Skins could get him, they are like 16th or something in the waiver process. Some teams like the Bills won't even try because they have NO chance and Moss literally does nothing for their team and he wouldn't be interested in going there. Same for the Rams and others. I'd say the Redskins have a great shot... if they want him.

They would continue to key on blowing up Rabach...what do you mean?

Well one thing would be true is that they wouldn't be able to bring the safety in the box as much which would help the O-line, but that could be a major disruption. We still need a middle front three, and a RT.

Washington Press will eat this guy up. I don't care if he comes here or not. I still do not see the QB having much time if defenses keep bringing the sink.

I'm down for x2 Moss attack... I think he may want to come here since Dmac has the most throws over twenty or forty yards so far this season and RM likes the deep ball. Plus DC is closer to his home then say west coast lol whens the deadline?

If we get a chance at Moss, they will pick him up
he's gone before we get that chance

Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

Moss is an IDIOT.... just cuz you have money NOW????? Where is your humbleness .....to your Maker....??? People who willfully tear down other people's character and livelyhood....tsk tsk tsk....have a Higher Judgement against them.
Moss is a turd and I wouldn't want him with the Skins.

Randy Moss, who was waived by the Minnesota Vikings on Tuesday, may have alienated some teammates when he was roundly critical of a post-practice meal in front of the local restaurant owners who catered it, Yahoo! Sports reported.
Every Friday, the Vikings invite a local establishment to cater the team's post-practice meal. Last Friday, it was a St. Paul restaurant -- a favorite of former Vikings center Matt Birk -- that served chicken, pasta, ribs and other dishes.
While his teammates lined up to dig in, Moss lashed out, according to the report.
Moss yelled "What the [expletive]? Who ordered this crap? I wouldn't feed this to my dog," a player who witnessed the incident said, according to Yahoo! Sports.
Gus Tinucci, co-owner of Tinucci's Restaurant and Catering, which provided the spread in question, confirmed the report to the St. Paul Pioneer Press.
"If [Brett] Favre would have had a ball, he would have beaned him right in the head. Favre looked at him like, 'Are you kidding me?' " Tinucci told the newspaper.

He carries a lot of baggage into the locker room. He is not a team player. There is no denying about his talent, just like T.O.
But ... unless you have a very solid TEAM without controversies, like New England, where they put up with nobody's nonsense, you really have to consider the distractions and the drama that he brings along.
I am not sure he is a good addition from the current situations within the Skins organization and his own departure from Minny but I am sure he would make some awesome plays. I am not sure he is a good addition or not. I like the player on the field. I hate the distractions that the selfish drama queen brings off the field into the locker room.
Before this past weekend, I would have argued YES because I thought that a strong MS coach who carried the locker room with him, would be able to manage Randy. Now, our coach has to make sure that he does not lose the locker room without Randy.
I am hopeful and confident that this Donovan incident will fade away. But there is damage work to be made among players and coaches, and coaches and fans before we add another issue to resolve because Randy is a high maintenance guy.

I definitely agree with your view they're both baggage players, but while I've always argued strongly against guys like TO who attack their teammates and cry babies like Cutler, I'd like to give Moss a shot. I'd have some frank discussions about behavior before signing him, but I don't see him as overtly harmful to the team. Though I'd have felt more strongly before his attack on the caterer as that is the harmful to others behavior I shun. I'd certainly structure the contract so we can dump him free and clear whenever we want.
Hail to the Redskins!

Meanwhile, leauge sources told La Canfora that the Tennessee Titans, St. Louis Rams, Seattle Seahawks and Miami Dolphins are among teams considering a waiver claim on Moss.

If we pick him up off waivers, then we can't restructure his contract, we take him as is, don't we?

Good point on that. I was thinking he'd clear waivers. If he won't then I'm with you we should let whoever's willing to take his contract have him.
