HAHAHAHAHA, going into the bye the "franchise" QB is pissed, the team is questioning the coach, the backup QB is humiliated, the defense is gassed and playing like crap, the offensive line is the worst in the league...

This team SUCKS

I didn't think the Skins could make me speechless again if they tried. Wrong. If McNabb isn't hurt, Shanahan better lie and just say:

"I thought Donovan was hurt.."

Every coach & Player that touches this franchise eventually succumbs to the curse. Some it takes longer than others, but eventually everyones name will be sullied. Shanny is off to a quick start though

I realize that this is an embarrassing loss, but we are 4-4 in a muddled NFC. No one has shown that they are better, except may be the Giants. We are still in the pack for a playoff spot. I still believe in this team and this coaching staff. We don't have the personnel for the 3-4 yet and it shows when we give up these many points. If you would've told me at the beginning of the year, that the Redskins would be 4-4 at the bye week, I would be thrilled. The Lions aren't a bad team. Remember, they were favored going into the game.

Donovan played a gritty game - just dumbfounding. He had 45 of the 80 rushing yards and took about 65 shots today. O-line can't passblock and your QB runs for 45 of your 80 running yards... and you yank him with the game still very winnable??

Coach Fire Marshal Bill just lost my respect.

Deangelo Hall actually did a decent job in coverage on Megatron... but, dude, CJ is one tough receiver...

I don't know what just happen. I hope Mcnabb was hurt, and not sat on his performance.

I was actually in shock what was going on with 5 minutes left, and we dont run the football. I blame alot of bad coaching in this game

1. You throw the ball on 2-9 with 5 minutes left when your D has been playing a good game and you're up by 5.

2. You go for it when your QB has been getting smashed all game on 4th-10 inside your own 20.

3. You pull Mcnabb with 2 minutes left and only down by 6, when in reality you should only be down by 3 if you would of punted.

I am in shock... I'm not mad about the loss because I have absolutely no idea what just happen

It's indescribable .... something even ZORN wouldn't do.

I'm thoroughly unimpressed with the coaching the offense and the o-line

You pull McNabb with the game still in reach??

Totally absurd.

It really gets old

I feel your pain. I was born and raised in Maine. When I was a kid (and even today) the Boston Red Sox were my first love but when fall would come, and I gravitated to dad's Redskins. He was born and raised in Maine too, but Larry Brown was the coolest guy in the NFL when he was a kid, and he chose the Skins over the local Patriots (who never had a real rabid fan base.)

At least he got to be a Skins fan during the glory days of George Allen and Joe Gibbs. At least he got to see 5 Super Bowl appearances... I really became a fan of football when Heath Shuler came into the league. My Redskins experiences are with Westbrook, Shuler, Spurrier, Snyder, Cerrato, George, Candidate, Gardner, Gibbs II (probably the worst coach in recent years because he killed the future for two early playoff exits) and others.

I could have been born a Patriots fan and seen a franchise QB in a world class organization, I moved to PA when I was a kid, I could have been a Steelers fan and watched them win two Super Bowls with a star QB (of questionable moral character of course) and then I moved to Colorado in 2001... I could have jumped ship to the Broncos who pretty quickly went to the playoffs three straight times...

But no.

I literally feel nothing for any other team. When the Broncos/Patriots win or lose, I couldn't care less. I am forever bound to the Redskins. I just don't have an attachment to any other team. I'm doomed to follow this terrible team forever.
