Phew! That was exhausting. Our guys played tough and barely lost to a team that was "supposed" to blow them out of the water. No too bad. Of course I always wish we would win.

Sucks bad that Dmac had him on the last play.. Colts had two of the best catches of the year tonight. Last one killed it. Almost almost.. At least we were in the game

Very good game Torrain had 100 yards rushing and 2 TD's. They played well against a very good football team and the best quarterback in the league

Hanging around to the end does show tenacity... but that is no way to make a living... percentages say that you will lose as many as you win...

and you will kill of half of your fan base with cardivascular issues...

That's as good a loss as there can possibly be. I've questioned McNabb's ability but tonight his two interceptions were the result of a very good play on a jumped route and a ridiculous, acrobatic, one handed catch by a DB on a desperation Hail Mary throw.

Donnie Mac looked good, and he only made two really bad passes that stick out. He spread the ball around like he always does connecting to 8 different receivers and targeting 9 total players.

The defense looked good, getting two fumbles and another one on special teams. Even Buchannan looked excellent, especially on that three and out in the 4th quarter. We should have had three interceptions at least, but hopefully that comes along. Collinsworth confirmed what I've said for years, if Carlos Rogers could catch he'd be in the Pro Bowl every year.

I feel really good about our chances against the Bears next week. We lost this game, but in this game it showed the players are committed to the Shannahan program, it's not like under Zorn where players weren't buying into him. That's the first step in rebuilding a franchise, but there's still a lot of work to do.

Even after a loss I feel a lot better about this team's ability to possibly make the playoffs.

I had real hope for him as the FS... he's the only one with the speed to be a true FS... but, man, the dude makes bad reads, takes bad angles, and had 'los syndrome, dropping two picks.

What does this team need to go from a team that "hangs around" in games, to a team that jumps out in front and never looks back?

He really is the anti-Landry. It's like he doesn't know how to put a hit on someone. He stands back there flat footed and whiffs on tackles. It's crazy, I've never seen an NFL safety play like that. Add on the dropped pick... and the part where he stumbled and cost himself another chance at an INT it doesn't look good.

I don't mean to offend someone by invoking his name, but I spend a lot of time thinking about how different the Skins would be with Sean Taylor. Is there anyone besides me who thinks if Sean Taylor were alive this team is 5-1?

At least now we know why Albert Haynesworth was inactive. With The hurry up offense of the Colts he would have had a heart attack.

One more offseason?

I don't want to be a shill for the owners, but I really don't want there to be a lockout. This team is working on building something special, and while I think McNabb is such a great leader that he would be running practices out in AZ I just don't think we can afford to lose a season from some of our veterans. We need to keep the ball rolling.

You can't be serious? Throw them a parade for forcing a 3 and out. That's what they're SUPPOSED to do. SMH

500 yds and 27 points allowed. Ball Game. The Offense is inconsistent. I like our players - hate the way we are using, and mis-using them.

Well dude, they showed up when the game was on the line. But you refuse to give credit where it's due. You like to blow things out of proportion and throw fits at people who try to debate with you. All of that just to say, there's no point in interacting with someone who responds in the manner in which you do. #shrug

Whatever dude. Have a good one. #not caring

BTW - sitting near a radio and bopping after the defense without watching it or even paying attention to what is going on doesn't equal "debating"...crying "who is complaining about the defense" isn't debating.

Looks to me like our problems at the skill positions are more or less over. Torain looked good tonight, Davis and Cooley accounted for eight receptions, Moss had another good game and Armstrong, to me, looks like star material. The offensive line still doesn't look so hot. Williams was so-so.
Rabach a clear weakness.

Still, the defense is a crime. We were lucky the colts didn't score forty and gain even more than the 460 yards they ended up with. The last great series didn't make up for their consistently horrific play. Neither did knocking out two of the Colts make up for the fact the Skins can't stop the run or the pass. So far, the 3-4 continues to look like a mistake.

Williams was very good tonight I thought. You didn't hear a peep out of Freeney. It was Jamal Brown who got his but kicked all night.

This game was win able for the skins that is for sure.

offense and defense both have room for improvement.

The D did get the colts 3 and out and give the offense a chance to win it.

Didn't care much for the play calling in that last possession by the skins.

oh well get a win next week skins and at least the cowpukes are 1-4

Williams was fine, but let's not forget he had two offensive holding penalties.

One of which was garbage.
