Then there was the time he said Sean Taylor's death was a tragedy for his murderers because they didn't expect him to be home. Yeah, it wasn't possible he'd be home, that's why they brought guns...
I will always despise him for that in particular, though he's got plenty of other body of work to support it as well. The guy is a pompous moron all the time, not just when he's talking about the Redskins.
Hail to the Redskins!

there seem to be a lot of play by play and color guys doing NFL games nowadays that make some of the other guys look really good - if there were a top 10 worst list of these guys each year, Collinsworth would be in the top 3 - I wish he would STFU
I will say that at this time, there are really not many good ones but the bad ones like Collinsworth hurt the NFL experience IMO

Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

My worst three in order:
1 - Collinsworth
2 - Brent Musburger
3 - Pam Ward

He thinks he is this ultra cool guy and he is really just a pencil neck geek that probably got beat up a lot in school as a kid!
CC (& Rome) are simply just annoying as hell! CC doesn't actually say anything wrong and he is pretty well prepared, but he just annoys me to no limit!!! I was so excited when I heard John Madden was retiring because I hated his coverage for years. My excitement crashed and burned when I heard CC was replacing him!
Aikman is just a tool! He is a blind Cowgirls homer (worse than Joey T is for the Skins). Aikman is also as boring as they come. Listening to him is like trying to stay awake after three day of no sleep. I just want to scrat my eyes out, but I'm so tired I can't remember what I want to do and no longer have the cognitive function to accomplish it if I could remember!
WOW - I loved Madden as a kid. He and Pat Summerall were a good duo. It's hilarious how announcers an annoy people.

Oddly enough, I really get annoyed by the following:
Marshall Faulk on NFL Total Access
Jaimee Dukes
Tom Jakson on NFL Countdown
Troy Aikman calling any game
Everyone else is okay with me. Tirico is good, but he's no Al Michaels. Jaworski is good. And, John Gruden is the next John Madden to me.
Only a matter of time before Gruden has a Video Game and a brand identity all his own.
SPIT HAPPENS!!

Aikman is a bias, Cowboys homer. Fox needs to take him off of Dallas games. I just got reminded by watching the Cowboys game and he said Miles Austin may be the best WR in the league and if anyone is better its Andre Johnson. I'll admit he is good but not as good as Johnson and definitely not top 2.

I like Buck doing baseball, but football he is awful. Listening to him and Aikman together makes me want to throw up.

Troy isn't that bad. I hate to defend a cowboy but he won me over years ago when no one gave us any credit he did. He might have changed I don't know. I know this though. He is usually unbiased. I usually do not pay too much attention these days though so you could be right. I just watch the game and not listen as much.

That guy makes me want to play.

Wow! we could not disagree on this topic any more.

Madden was good in the early years, as was Summerall. But as they got old, they would just be rambling on and miss large segments of the game. Both should have retired about seven years before they did.
