This team is funny, we could easily be 5-0 or 0-5.

True. That could be said for a lot of teams this year though. At least we're winning some of these games now....in years past, we almost always lost them LOL

Yep, DMac may make a lot of bad passes during the game, but he doesn't turn the ball over, and in the end. he is a winner. We need to sign him to an extension.

I'm so glad we won this game, because now I can say what a horrible officiating game it was, without it sounding like sour grapes. Truly one of the worst called games I've ever seen. The Packers were holding all day on offense, and interfering on D with impunity. Something needs to be done.

maybe it had to do with the fact that he had a green jersey in his grille 1.5 secs after the snap????
That was true for the vast majority of the game, but to be fair, McNabb did miss more than a couple of what should've been gimme completeions.
The offense helped the defense win this game with the 2 long drives they had in the fourth qtr. These drives kept their D on the field (wearing down), while our D was on the sideline resting.

Until the last drive in OT - then they made the right calls - even the border line call on interferience on Sellers. But they were bad. The Skins need to earn the benefit of the doubt from the officials.

So, to the guys who are hating on McNabb, who are we going to start next year ? Grossman ? Beck ? Get Campbell back ? Trade away more draft picks to get a veteran QB you wanna get rid off the year thereafter ?
McNabb is so much of an improvement over JC, it isn't even funny. We have more money than draft picks, just give him his damn contract.

If you live near Philly you would be hearing the Eagle fan base starting to turn on Andy Reid. There had long been a debate here whether it was McNabb or Reid who was more responsible for thier modest (no rings) success over the past 11 years. I think we are starting to see the answer. McNabb winning games while playing behind a poor line, with no running game and to recievers who are either 80 years old or most recent of the Mexican League of American Futbol or wherever it is Armstrong came from. McNabb is a winner and if you can handle winning some ugly games you will have to be able to handle is dark periods during games where he throws in the dirt or over a guy. Just remember how many first halfs he looked aweful agaisnt the Skins only to lead the Eagles back to a win. He is a quality QB who is carrying the team on his back right now. He should only get better as the season goes on, provided he stays healthy.
just a FYI... ladell betts has personally lost the game for the saints. in the first half, the saints were on their own 1... a screen to betts popped out of his hands, was picked, returned to the 1, and later punched in for 7. he also just fumbled, which was returned for a defensive TD. 14 points handed to the cards by betts.
Uh, to the poster that said we could be 5-0 or 0-5. Maybe, but the intangibles that DMac brings makes it hard to go 0 and anything. I have been on his train for a long time, but now I really enjoy the heart that the whole team plays with. It's an exciting year so far. Good chance to make the playoffs this year.

Man, it feels so good to win a game like that. It seems like the past few years games like that always go the other way.
McNabb wasn't his sharpest today, but he came through when it mattered and made some big plays that not many other quarterbacks could make. And he had barely any protection for most of the game. You never feel out of a game when you have a leader like that under center. Laron was a beast again today. I wish we could've seen him at his natural position for his entire career so far. I was happy to see the defense has improved over the past couple of games.

yup..you're right.
also orakpo missed some sacks....cooley dropped a few...moss also. i saw landry miss a few tackles and the oline was HORRENDOUS.
we sucked.....but you know what?
we won and not only did we win...but we showed some GUTS.
i will take that against the alternative.
