best reciever/best running back
Things are a little slow right now in terms of issues to debate so I decided to get something started. If you were starting a football team and could take your pick of any one reciever and any one Running back, who would you choose?
Ill take moss and jamal lewis(if the charges get dropped or he gets aquitted), with portis being a very close second.

This is not necessarily Redskins related so I'm moving it to the "Around the League" forum.
I think Coles is going to have an excellent year. I'd like to say Portis, too...but I would certainly be coming across as a "homer" then, wouldn't I?
I'll say Coles and Priest Holmes.

I have to go with Marvin Harrison and Ladainian Tomlinson. Marvin is just pure class. He doesn't say a word and performs was well asthe rest of the receivers in the league. LT is a feared rusher but he can catch better than most backs. He had over 1,000 yards rushing and over 1,000 yards receiving in 2003.

I like to think that, regardless of the attitude, if the game was on the line who would I feel most confident with going up to get a ball or beating a cb, Moss hands down. Also tomlinson is a better reciever then jamal lewis, but you can always count on jamal to get those tough yards. NO one in the league runs harder then lewis. He weighs like 240 but still has blazing speed and good agility. He hits the holes with more power then anyone in the league.
Not to go off the threads topic which I started, I just think its sad that tomlison wasnt invited to the pro bowl with the type of numbers he put up last year. Ok, back to the topic....

Funny story. A guy on CF went to high school in his area. Apparently Marvin was the biggest trash talker in the world when he was younger. And if I remember the story correctly, raced one of the state's fastest sprinters and won.
I got your number. I steal your thunder. I got your mother's maiden name tattooed on my arm.

Yeah, and if you guys remember he was bitching at the beginning af last year becuase manning was spreading the ball around a little more. He still is the for the most part a class act, but seems to hava a little bit of the wide reciever ego in him which is so prominent in todays NFL. Although he is nowhere in the same range as owens, moss, and chad and keyshawn Johnson.

He's the world record holder for the 100 meters, but hey maybe when Davis beat him that was before he was taking steriods.
