IB, I can be optimistic if I see a glimmer of hope, but I haven't seen ANYTHING consistant that gives me a reason to be optmistic short of 'any given sunday'
My only point is that even that should be enough that we don't have to talk about how afraid we are that the Eagles are coming to town. Maybe it's just me, but the very thought of being afraid of the Cowboys, Eagles, or Giants is enough to make me
I'm not afraid either. I'm hopeful but realistic. Hope will not win you games. A sound gameplan and execution will.

How is it obvious its going to Moss when we throw deep? Galloway has had just as many deep balls come his way if not more.

Shanny x2 and Haslett........? I'm not convinced yet.
Yeah, wouldn't put my money on it, especially the Haslett part.

someone once said that you can't win a lottery if you don't buy a ticket - I never waste my money on buying lottery tickets and I've never met anyone that won a lottery - I figure I'm way ahead, money wise
I think you're crazy to bet on any NFL game (especially/including the Redskins) but I would never predict that they are going to lose a game either
I can't imagine being stupid enough to bet money on a football game - what a waste
I try to look at things positively even when some Redskins fans do not see much to be happy about
especially this year after the 10 years of stupidity that was caused by the failure that is Dan Snyder
these guys will figure out how to rebuild this franchise and I'm going to enjoy the bad because it's got to get better
nothing good comes from getting agitated IMO

Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

Last week was to. Throw the shmeagles. Off.. Unorthodox coverage random blitz with game plan or maximum effort. We gave the eagles weak film and false hope. We know exactly what vick and company are gonna try and do and I believe we will have the answer. Smart move by the coaches to take one on the chin so Dmac can crush his former employers that never were grateful. 31-17 eagles die!

Yeah, but how many did he catch...? Actually, how many passes did Galloway catch total?

NOT 1 picking the Skins:
http://espn.go.com/nfl/picks
I'm picking the Skins. Even tho I have voiced my criticism....I NEVER pick against my team.

I'm not surprised that nearly everyone that knows anything about the NFL is picking the eagles to win - even the stupid bookies have them favored - Vick is playing the best football of his NFL career right now
we have to hope we can find a way to be more effective defensively to have a chance at wiinning this game or they could make a lot of stupid mistakes and bad coaching decisions like the pukes did
this is a divisional game and they are always tough - especially in the NFC East

That's funny. Their "expert" 8 guys are no where near the talent of our top 8 hognosticators.

While you bring that up, why does it show week 8 picks in the hognosticator pick sheet?

I think he's got 3 receptions on the year?? But that isn't the point, the point is that he's been a deep threat, he'll get one for a TD soon (I hope).

I see that chiefhog44 has posted his picks
for those still not sure that want to get in on the action - like Hoss said - go to the Around the League forum and click on his blog in the sticky for week 4 at the top of the page
the other Hognostications links that chiefhog44 was referring to are from last season

Three catches in three games is a horrible record for a WR. Deep threat!
Nonsense. He's taking no pressure off Moss or anyone else. Both Armstrong and Thomas are far better than he is and would offer an even better deep threat. Galloway can't outrun either of them. Shanny's created a WR problem where there shouldn't be one, just as he's pointlessly created a 3-4 problem.
The key to making our 3-4 work is replacing people. Apparently, he's now trying to teach people to play the 3-4 who are not going to be with us or will alway be out of place . Why waste this season? To play the 3-4 he needs at least two new linemen and two outside linebackers. He should wait for his ducks before he tries to put them in a row.

Oh yea they show up for the first three weeks , the injuries the new qb the sacks oh yea....but this is redskins so im on the up and up , I know this is the NFL and all , there is not much room for ra ra ra lets kick um in the knee and get back and get after it, especially after the fourth week , I mean we gotta win 10 or 11 games this year and if the team gets it done this week that will be nice, somethin about an nfc east game after going 0 and six last year that just gets to me im sure they feel the same way ,

I love watching and waiting to see what the hecks going on.
