Aikman's comments in today's NFL.com

TROY AIKMAN (FOX)
"As much as I hate to admit it, I'd have to say that the Dallas Cowboys are the team masquerading as a contender. Clearly, Bill Parcells has done a fabulous of job of getting this team out of the gates with a 5-2 record; the most optimistic of people wouldn't have predicted the Cowboys matching their win total for each of the past three seasons by now. Having said that, the Cowboys are getting ready to embrace the toughest stretch of their schedule. They host Washington this weekend and then play Buffalo, at New England, Carolina and Miami. Tampa Bay exposed Dallas last weekend and I'm afraid that the next month of the season will do the same."

I love it!
God bless our troops and Joe Gibbs.
We'll miss you, Joe.

Can't stand Aikman but agree with him this time.

I have to say that I ONLY hate Troy because he was a Cowboy.

As far as TV guys go... he's top drawer in my opinion. One of the most HONEST, insightful guys out there.

The brutal thing is that Phil Simms is my other fave announcer.

... and trust me... I hate both these guys before they open their mouth.

Oh and in case you didn't all know... Collinsworthless is doing the game this weekend. I can't get Redskins Radio up here in Canada, but I am definitely going to be hitting the mute button every time I hear him start chirping.
Sean Taylor was one of a kind, may he rest in peace.

I think Aikman is the best NFL broadcaster outside of MNF. He has really surprised me. He does a radio interview every Thursday morning in Dallas, and I always make sure I listen to it. As a player, I hated him. I made his mother cry twice. But I'll take his broadcast team over Moose, Kenny Albert, and fat-ass Siragusa any day. Look for me on TV this weekend. I'll be wearing my Cartwright jersey and a Redskins fan mask.
oops....sorry!

I'll take Moose and Kenny Albert...just so I don't have to listen to Collinsworth. They need to dump him and replace him to give Troy a decent partner.
God bless our troops and Joe Gibbs.
