On 980 yesterday they were talking about which players the Skins can least afford to lose on offense for an extended period of time. The consensus was Moss and Williams, and I think that that is right on point. We would be in a world of trouble if either guy went down for more than a week or two. Williams is already that good.

Is it that Williams is that good, or that the rest of the offense . . . well, you know.

now now - play nice

Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

You're right, he's been very good and against premiere ends. But more then needing him specifically this year, we really need him to get more experience and a game and a half doesn't do it. It's so cool when you replace someone as good as Samuels was for all those years so quickly and it seldom happens. Premature to say we did yet either. But so far so good...

I certainly hope that they can get him back in there ASAP but I agree with the school of thought that this guy could be a very long term fixture here and we need to ensure that he's given every opportunity to continue the progress he's shown in good health - we need him for years and do not need to rush him back - we have 2 reasonably easy games coming up and we can rest him longer if necessary

I suppose you never will...

I'll second that. If you're the future of my franchise and the biggest brick in the wall around McNugget, curl up into a fetal position every time you buckle a knee so that some lumbering idiot doesn't fall on you and cause some real damage.

That's great. I didn't know that Samuels was doing that. Awesome.
