what do you do if by game 5, we still have no running game???

Do you make personnel changes? i.e. shuffle back field or OL

Or

Do you have Kyle get creative with the running plays to get space for the RBs???

we will have a running game SOON or one that is a lot more effective than what we've seen

we have to give things a chance - we cannot worry about the 5th game - we just need to win this game this week

We are not by any means getting a push in the interior. it's not going to be easy to get this thing rolling. I think stretches/off tackle/ screens are the only real successful options.

The problem with that is that we have tight ends that can't block. These first two weeks Cool

ey/Davis have really struggled to seal off the edge on runs to the outside.

Two things:

Dallas - good defense vs the run
Houston - good defense vs the run.

The only thing about Houston was that we didn't really run the ball. CP I think had only 12 or 13 runs and two of those were inside the 5. Let the players continue to gel and we will see improvement.

I hope you're right, but we weren't just bad but we got nothing at all in the running game. If it was more mixed it'd be easier to look at it this way. But again, I hope you're right.
