People may not remember exactly what you did

they will ALWAYS remember how you made them feel.

I think this game could have possibly turned out different had the refs made the right call when keiland williams was clearly out of bounds and stopped the clock.

Can't blame the game on one call. We had alot of mistakes in key situations...

Heyer holding
Horton offsides

The timeout took my heart out... Oh, how I hate that strategy.

I am glad to see us moving the ball downfield. It's actually refreshing to watch a game were our offense is making plays for once, and going downfield.

The timeout
Galloway missing by a fingertip

Man, so many times I was out of my seat.

You forgot Fred Davis forgetting to block on the field goal attempt. Chip shot that would have iced the game.

This game was just ridiculous, awful, and painful. I'm actually a bit nauseous from it.

This team must find a running game, somewhere. Long drives at the end of the game protect your defense.

It is certainly unsporting, but how do you propose to stop it? There are legitimate reasons for calling TO close to the snap.

im saying the game may not have even made it to those plays who knows. but i hate that ice the kicker crap too. such an underhanded tactic.

Im an optimist so something i enjoyed seeing was that strike to galloway in the endzone. even though he was overthrown they went for the killshot, no way that play would have happened last yr.

Defense didn't let Arian Foster embaress us like he did the colts

If we can establish the run we'll be a monster. If not teams are going to sit back and eat us for lunch.

MY POINT: Adjustments can be made and all is not lost

When the Texans decided to not try the field goal in overtime I thought
"thanks for the stupidity Houston". I was sure the Redskins would drive
it down the field and win it.
But the Redskins had many opportunities to put the game away. THe blocked field goal, the overthrow to Galloway, AND on the tying drive by the Texans Reed Doughty had an interception but it got knocked away
by Landry running into him.

We lost the game but going in, I didn't expect to win either. But that's my honest opinion.

Absolutely! We also need help in the defense (cornerbacks, Safeties) The Houston receivers seemed to be able to get open any time they wanted.

The play of the game was the blocked field goal.

Texans had a over load and a mismatch on fred davis.

would have been nice if the coaches seen it and called a time out.

I know Mike is furious about this one. You could see it in his eyes on the side lines.

all hope is lost for the season. today we proved that we are The Same Old Redskins. we're adding more chapters into the How To Give A Game Away manual every month of every season.

|Inexcusable/Unforgivably Sickening| Mistake #1: Fred Davis fails to make any block whatsoever on the outside man on the FG attempt that should've clinched the game; the kick is then blocked by his man

|Inexcusable/Unforgivably Sickening| Mistake #2: after the defense holds, Stephon Heyer commits a holding penalty that negates a 1st down conversion on 3rd and long, causing us to have to punt.

|Inexcusable/Unforgivably Sickening| Mistake #3: Donovan McNabb overthrows a wide-open-by-10-yards Joey Galloway on a touchdown bomb that should have clinched the game

|Inexcusable/Unforgivably Sickening| Mistake #4: Defensive Coordinator Jim Haslet inexplicably/inconceivably assigns our #3 cornerback to cover the best WR in the NFL on 4th and 10

|Inexcusable/Unforgivably Sickening| Mistake #5: said cornerback (Phillip Buchanon) ceases covering said best WR in the NFL (Andre Johnson) on 4th and 10, allowing him to be single covered by a SAFETY. in the END ZONE. a *WHITE* safety, no less!!!

then the kicker misses the FG in overtime by a MILE after drilling the first one perfectly, only to have it negated by the other team calling time-out right before the kick.

just pathetic. the exact same kind of total bullcrap we've been doing to GIVE games away year after year. the team will never stop doing this. they will continue to find ways to give games away week after week, season after season, until the end of time.

I think the key was the false start on 3rd and 1 from the 6. A first down there, and you punch it in, game over.

No excuse for a false start in that situation.

Had a 17 point lead and had Houston 3rd and 15. Make THAT stop and you're probably going to win. Two plays later, Houston cuts the lead to 10.

Had a chance at a nice, easy insurance field goal, and right on cue...it gets stuffed back into their faces. (That's two big field goal miscues in two weeks, if you're counting.)

Even after all that, the Texans have to score on 4th and a taxi ride to force overtime. And, well, what can you say except that Reed Doughty is the Defensive MVP of every team not named the Washington Redskins.

Then Kubiak has a COLOSSAL brain fart and forgoes the game winning field goal try for a punt that nets his team...what...half a foot or something in field position?

And then the Redskins do what they do best...get our hopes up and leave us with blue balls.

On third and 7, why try that timing play to the endzone? Why not something to get your kicker just a little bit closer? A 47 yard try is a bit easier than a 52 yarder.

To his credit, Gano HAMMERED that first kick. But who didn't see that timeout coming?

After that, it was all a formality. Catastrophe was just around the corner, like it has been for two decades with this team.

They COULD be 2-0. But if you know ANYTHING about the NFL, you should know that they really, really SHOULD be 0-2.

New Coach. New GM. New Quarterback.

Same ol' B.S.

We had alot of things go wrong this game for us to even be in it at the end. My roomate came upstairs after Portis ran for that 10 yard gain in the 3rd, and said this one is in the bag.

I was thinking.. "STFU, this is the Redskins we are talking about"

To many mistakes today.. Defense played well to an extent, but Houston does have a lighting passing attack, and after this game I game to one final conclusion.

PLEASE COME BACK SOON KAREEM MOORE!!!

So tired of Doughty always being a "step late" on every pass play.

497 yards passing.

FOUR HUNDRED AND NINETY-SEVEN YARDS PASSING.

That is ridiculous. Inexcusable.
