Just came to congratulate y'all on giving the other Texas team a notch in the L column or them giving you a W either way works...lol
Now onto this week at FedEX.. Im looking forward to this game, its nice with all the connections between these 2 teams how this could play out.
Say what you may, but Houston has more weapons in its passing game(see last season) than the Cowgirls aka Cowpies and they also have an ever improving run game. So they shouldn't even be compared in that regard...
Defensively they're strong against the run and at key positions like DE Mario Williams and SS Bernard Pollard. I don't see the idiotic playcalling that gave your Redskins the week 1 victory to occur either. So if your team is to win I think you'll have to put up some points. I'd say at least 3tds or more and I don't think the Skins offense will be up to the task come Sunday afternoon. ;D
Homo a better qb at least scrambling witten Austin Bryant and William = more stacked at wr.. Barber + Jones = more stacked at rb and demarcus ware more of a threat then super Mario.. Their D is all around better then Houston. Granted your O-line is better and won't hold O-sack-po as much but with your qb not as mobile might = sacks. Should be a weaker Dallas but one point I agree is we must put up points. Should be one of the better games this week. And on top of that I hate you as a Houston fan a fraction of any cowpuke fan.. Even tho a few are friends what ever that means. Good luck just not enough to win! Lol

27-13 Texans
I've got to say that you guys looked very impressive this past week. We are in for a tough game.
Thanks for the kind words, and welcome to the site. Of all the opposing teams' fans that have ever come to THN for some friendly banter and discussion, the Texans fans have always been the most polite and fun to talk to. We even have a resident Texans fan who hangs out here mostly to make fun of Dallas.
It is going to be a tough game for the Skins. Andre Johnson is one scary wideout. The only way to stop him is to put pressure on Matt Schaub. We have to be able to throw off his timing. We also can't afford to double cover Andre Johnson for that we will need the extra man to stop Arian Foster.
This game is very interesting, we know your offense, you know ours. We know your defense, you don't know ours.... SHould be fun. I look for CR22 to shadow AJohnson and look forour #30 to be in your backfield a lot. =)
#21 (36) This IS and will always be the High watermark where all new DB's are measured.
It'll be a tough game for us as we don't stop the run well. If I'm Houston, I'd keep the ball on the ground and just pound it like they did versus Indy. If you put the ball in Shuab's hands too much, you're only asking for trouble.
You guys held Peyton and Co. to 24 points so I'm not sure what our O can do that they didn't. The only wildcard is that we have a lot of your former coaches here who might have an inside track on your weaknesses that Indy didn't have.
Could go either way, but I give Houston the edge in this one.

Part of them holding Manning to 24 was the houston offense keeping the ball away from him with long drives. Washington's D is much, much better than Indy's. Still, Washington's O didn't show much last week, so barring a let down, I agree that Houston has the edge. If the defense/ST can score twice or set up two very short TD drives, then Washington can win.
With the Cardinals reaching the Super Bowl, is Dan Snyder officially the worst owner in the league?

I didn't see the game, but the stats don't seem to fit that. Time of Possession favors Houston by two minutes. Peyton threw for 433 yards. Not exactly a rousing performance for Houston's D, but keeping the Colts 4-12 on third down, and only allowing three touchdowns on over 400 yards passing from Peyton Manning is pretty good.

This is tough talk for the only NFL team the Skins have NEVER lost to.
Texans' offense is better than the Cowpies, but your defense isn't even remotely close to the Cowgirls and your best (steroid enhanced) defensive player isn't even paying.
As long as we clean the butter off our backs and receivers hands before the game (unlike last week) I like our chances.
I think you have the right score, you just have the teams reversed! Well I'll even go 27 - 20; Skins remain undefeated against the Texans!

I don't think we win this game...or shouldn't. Our offense is not up to speed yet. Hopefully we get a few turnovers and win a defensive battle. The first quarter of the season, our defense has got to win us a few games while the offense gets up to speed.
Miss you 21

we probably don't look like winning this week ... but I think we do
and that leaves us as the top team in Texass for at least a week or two
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

He's better scrambling huh? He's also at his worst scrambling as well...lol... Andre Johnson and Jacoby Jones more exlposive, Kevin Walter and Owen Daniels is back.. Schaub and AJ are much more in sync as well. Ware and Super Mario are completely different pass rushers... expect Mario to be a bigger problem for that young Tackle. Good luck yourself! You'll need it haha

No problem, thanks for the welcome... that's all good to know.. Now I can't wait for this game.

Keep in my mind... the Skins haven't lost to this team cuz they haven't played this "team"... C'mon 2006 was the last game. It's hardly relevant, that was in the David Carr era.. .haha. Don't underestimate our defense... they've been one of the best in the league against the run goin' back to last season and Donovan will be hit often.

Why not? The final score was closer than it should have been.
IMO IF both teams had played as well as they could, I don't think we win the game
the stupid pukes made a lot of mistakes both on the field and coaching and we took advantage - that's football but, 'winning' the game does not make us a better team, it just makes us winners and them losers
gotta love it

I'm just hoping the Texans were on a mission last week and they played way beyond what they're normally capable of because they wanted to beat the Colts so badly and they come back down to a normal level this week. If the Texans really are that good, the Skins may in in trouble....

I disagree. I think we win that matchup 9 out of 10 times. But it's good to know that your talent evaluation skills are so shaky. You're right up there with all the other "experts" who've overrated the Cowpies this season.
