The Wizards are on the clock with the 5th overall pick.

We have to make our pick first and then trade to Dallas.

Ok, the Wizards picked Devin Harris out of Wisconsin. He's not a big man and Steven A. Smith said the Mavs need a point guard. So he's definitely going to the Mavs.

This is a longshot, but if the Magic-Rockets trade goes through, the magic are said to have an interest in Arenas for Francis. LEts say the wizards do this, move fracis to shooting guard, and play harris at the point(if they dont trade him to dallas). Then they could maybe get rid of larry hughes and stackhouse and play hayes at small forward.

I really dont like the jamison deal because of the 65 million dollar contract. I dont think a young, rebuilding team like the wizards would want this type of contract, and if jamison gets injured, they have 12 million in wasted cap space.

Also, the Wiz aren't keeping Harris.

I'm hoping if Nelson's available at 32, we'll get him. I doubt he will be. We will probably get a European bigman we have never heard of.

Ok, it IS official. Devin Harris, Jerry Stackhouse, and Christian Laettner have been traded to Dallas for Antawn Jamison and cash.

Good. Nelson would be sweet, and he could probably contribute immediatley, but I wouldn't mind getting a European big man. There is no substitution for size...

Bummer. Nelson was drafted by the Nuggets and traded to the Magic for a future first rounder. At least the Magic made up for not drafting Emeka.
