Vick is much better than Kolb. He's still got those legs, and is dangerous to the point where you almost don't want to see your d-linemen get to him. Better to rely on his relative inaccuracy than give him the idea that he should run it.
But they've certainly gotta be hurting in Philly, knowing what they let go.

Vick looked really good - he actually appeared to me to be better than when he was with the Falcons - his passing accuracy and velocity is a lot better and he's still got that ability to run
considering that he most likely didn't get a lot of work recently with the good guys he showed a lot
the Eagles made a terrible choice in letting McNabb go IMO especially in the division BUT Vick showed he's still a V good QB
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

Vick looked really good yesterday, and if it wasn't for him this game would have been a blow out. I honestly think that Kolb is not the answer so my question is if Vick gets hurt who else do they have that can step in?

I think they are already being examined for another stupid mistake earlier this year
maybe they can save a little on the consulting fee

Vick would have the occasional game where he'd throw for 400 yards, and he did turn that game around for Philly, but the word (as of yesterday) was that Kolb would start again next week.
Vick can be a decent QB at times, but he's a much better runner than a passer.

I would have agreed with that - as a matter of interest, did you see any of Vick's throws yesterday?
Vick was vastly more effective at the QB position than Kolb - initially they brought him in for the odd play here and then = same old Vick - When he came in for Kolb, it was a vastly different offense
any team playing the Eagles has to hope that Kolb is OK - Vick is a much more dangerous and effective QB than Kolb

You game plan Vick differently than you do Kolb. We'll see if Vick remains effective. I imagine that a healthy dose of maturity and humility might change his approach... but we will see...

I watched Vick play a bit on Sunday and I will say that he can still get it done with his feet BUT his passing has improved a WHOLE LOT
The Eagles will go with Kolb but they have a pretty unique weapon in Vick and he will now get a lot more opportunities than before because of what they saw last Sunday
they still made a big mistake in letting us get McNabb

Vick on the other hand is good. He is like Westbrook and McNabb rolled into one. Hehehehe we'll be waiting, rush 4, have #30 "spy" on him. It wil only take 1 play and we'll see Vick stay in the pocket.
