Here's an interesting article on another type of alternative for energy.
An interesting note.
Bush has repeatedly said that the United States must become less reliant on foreign sources of energy as a matter of national security, but his administration has given solar power from space the cold shoulder. While his administration has allocated millions of dollars for research into alternative fuel sources such as nuclear fusion and hydrogen, according to John Mankins, assistant associate administrator of advanced systems at NASA, there has been no funding for space solar power since 2001.
That really backs up my statement that we need to alienate ourselves from foreign suppliers of energy. Great.
I will admit that I was wrong in saying that Bush hasn't backed it up, I stand corrected. Nikki, I believe U made that statement.
There's a Canadian company developing a new type of solar panel that's flexible. Their idea is to cover buildings in this new material instead of planting rows and rows of gigantic panels on the roof.
I don't think solar power is really worth the effort outside of space use. Here on earth we've got that whole atmosphere thing to deal with, and let's not even start on the whole night time business.
I got your number. I steal your thunder. I got your mother's maiden name tattooed on my arm.
Man what is your problem? You come into this topic with a statement that doesn't contribute and turn it into a battle of words. Please, with all do respect don't post in a topic if you if you don't have anything positive to contribute. Keep that childish foolishness in the smack forum.

Just trying to add a little levity to the post...sorry if I didn't meet your contribution standards.
God bless our troops and Joe Gibbs.
We'll miss you, Joe.
If it was done in jest then I apologize. I just didn't want to see a battle of words erupt from you and 1974. Thats all. Sorry if I came off in an uninviting manner. Im still a little shell shocked from last week. It was just hard to tel if you were saying that in jest, or just to ruffle feathers, thats all.
Sorry guys, I was just messing around anyways as I'm sure Texas Hog was with his gas 'guzzlin, Hemi drivin' comment. I agree - the posts were getting nasty last week so I wasn't trying to start anything.
The opinion of 10,000 men is of no value if none of them know anything about the subject.
Thanks '74. I'm sorry too. I think were all on edge...with no sports to watch and no significant football news. The season....hell, preseason, can't start soon enough!

yEA, its like we're all so hungry for some Skins news that feeds our hunger, that we're turning into cannibals!
