I wasn't surprised to hear the radio guys making a big deal about this statement. Mike and Mike were still talking about it this morning.

Clearly this was McNabb trying to soothe Haynesworth and get him on board. Its kind of embarrassing for Haynesworth though, don't you think? Its like something an adult has to do with a child. Like, "C'mon Timmy! Don't stand in the corner and pout. The other kids really really need you on the team!"

Anyway, leaders do this kind of stuff whether its in sports or in business or whatever to motivate people. When Big Al gets traded, McNabb can speak out and say what the team really thinks about the big baby.

Amazes me to hear how many of the coaches last year (namely Blache) didn't want him to begin with. Thanks again Vinny!
