We need Vincent Jackson!

Post by Maximoral »

Okay, I admit it, I'm already in panic mode and the season hasn't even begun. All I keep hearing about when listening to the alleged "experts" is that the Skins have the weakest receiving corps in the NFL!

While I believe that our WR's and TE's combined will still give us a fairly formidable passing attack, I am now really wanting to add a big time WR! I was desperate for Housh, but now that this idea has fallen flat, I think it's time to pony up to to San Diego's demands for Vincent Jackson.

I say we trade Hayensworth to the Titans for a 2nd or 3rd round pick and then offer that pick on to the Chargers in exchange for Mr. Jackson's services! I think he would immediately make our receiving corps one of the more feared one's in the NFC Beast.

Okay guys, come after me! I'm sure at least one of you thinks I'm being an idiot!

Probly do have the worst receiving corps. We did last year, and the worst O-line as well. The depth has actually gotten much better at the position, and somebody could break out. Somebody better. At this point, Jackson can't play till week 6 or 7 no matter what, so that has to be considered. They needed to scoop up the Housh.

The scary thing is, we are one Santana Moss injury away from having absolutely no deep threat whatsover! Can anyone remember a season where Santana wasn't down with a pulled hammy for at least two games? Many I hope Armstrong turns out to be the real deal! Or maybe that Thomas finally becomes a legitimate NFL WR!

We always have Banks!!!!

Seriously, AA, while not Santana Moss type, had a deep pass or two he impressed with. I feel you on the WR corps thing though; I've been kinda worried the whole off-season.
...any given Sunday....

RIP #21 Sean Taylor. You will be loved and adored by Redskins fans forever!!!!!

GSPODS:
The National Anthem sucks.
What a useless piece of propagandist rhetoric that is.
