Me too... the problem is, if they try, and fail, how will you know? They'll never say.
The problem with getting TJ is his contract. He's got $7 million guaranteed. So Seatlle doesn't save money by cutting him. They'll likely keep him unless they get a trade offer plus an agreement to pay a large portion of his salary. Would you give a pick plus $4 million for him?
Haynesworth is getting 4 Mil per game ... why not 4 Mil for a season that's likely to help just as much or more.
Now they don't have to give up the pick for him, so he's cheaper. And did I miss Haynesworth getting a big raise? Pretty sure $4 million a game would be a record.
With the Cardinals reaching the Super Bowl, is Dan Snyder officially the worst owner in the league?

Yeah, but if you count the money he's guaranteed and already collected, it's much closer to 4 million than 212K.

Maybe we'll get Peyton Manning.
NFL Network is reporting that Tryon was traded to the Indianapolis Colts for an undisclosed draft pick.

Not quite. Even if you just count last season - 12 games at 4 million would be $48 million. That's what he would get over 4 full seasons.

That'sa jackly whata I meant.
Right now ... his contract has 41 ? Million guaranteed? That's 3.5 Million per game for the 12 games he played in last year. It's also 10+ Million per sack so far.

He's already collected 27 million for 12 games. That's 2.25 million per game. Last time I checked, 2.25 is closer to 4 than it is to .212. Besides, I'm pretty sure Ray's and my posts had a little bit of hyperbole thrown in for good measure.

There's some of that, but he's got 41+ mil guaranteed if I'm not mistaken, so it's very close to 4 Mil per game as it stands right this moment .... and does anyone think MS is going to play him unless he's busting butt out there? Did anyone watch Albert kinda just go through the motions in the Cards game?
Just see how fast he's yanked if he isn't performing against the Cowgirls.
The Haynesworth Saga is FAR FROM OVER.
