Houzamazili is trade bait?

Talk about the AFC, NFC, the NFL Draft, College Football... anything football that has no Washington Football Team relevance.

Not with that $7Mil contract that he had before he got cut

Now that he's a free agent... maybe

We could give him $500,000 and the Hawks would have to pay him $6.5Mil

Minnesota was in a bit of a bidding war for him when Seattle got him... they may still want him... if that's the case, why would he come here?

there are some that think that the Packers will win that division and TJ certainly helps the Redskins - as it stands now there are some that think this team has a chance to win the NFC East

PLUS - ANY agent is going to want his player to be near Danny's wallet

There are a lot more that think Minn is closer... and, if a receiver has the choice of Favre or McNabb, who do they choose? Favre has a long history of demonstrating that he knows how to use a quality possession receiver. McNabb has barely ever had a quality receiver of any kind.

Unless there is a bidding war (not likely), why would TJ chose to come to the skins over the vikes?

He may choose to come here because things are a bit more solid. Who knows if Brett is coming back. Where will he fit on the depth chart once their starters come back? Will the HC remain if they fold again this year? I think the Redskins even in their instability are a bit more stable for the next 3 years than the Vikes.

The Vikes trimmed down to 4 WR's, 1 of whom has been having migraines. I'm sure they have plans to add more.

Skins going after Housh right now hard. Should know soon. PFT Reports that he is choosing between the Skins and the Raiders.

He could be hoping to be signed by the Raiders and cut mid-year like DeAngelo Hall and then sign a third contract in one year. Who knows what goes through these guys heads.

What does this have to do with the practice squad? There are like three threads in the GM forum about this deal.

If he comes to the skins, we could see Banks go down to the PS.

Agreed. Clearly on the final roster though the plan was to look at cuts. We needed to pick up an OL and were going to look at WR's being the most obvious.

T.J. Houshmandzadeh has $7 million in his back pocket courtesy of his guaranteed salary from the Seattle Seahawks.

He's probably not going to be sitting out for too long, though. Houshmandzadeh has not returned messages since being released by the Seahawks and becoming an unrestricted free agent. His decision on where to play next season appears to be narrowing down to either Oakland or Washington, according to a source who had spoken with him.

Who's Housh want?
