Suh

Talk about the AFC, NFC, the NFL Draft, College Football... anything football that has no Washington Football Team relevance.

maybe an offensive lineman takes out Suh's knee with a very aggressive, quasi-legal block - treat the other players as you would have them treat you

Hopefully, that won't be possible as Goodell will boot him for a long time. It's not just that it was after the whistle, but that it was p prolonged attack to his head & neck.

Does he have a history of this sort of behavior from college? I'm not familiar with any ongoing behavior that this is a pattern for. Why would you 'boot him for a long time?' He's a rook and his first incident in the NFL. I prefer to think critically than emotionally.

Because he attempted to end the man's career & possibly his life.

So now he intentionally went out on the field and puposefully INTENDED to hurt him? Come on now, let's use a little thought.

And for a first and isolated incident(so far, this is accurate), I don't believe that he should be suspended 'for a long time.' He should face repurcussions, but I think there are some opinions here that are way out of whack on this one.

I got a better idea, since he, and I quote:
... attempted to end the man's career & possibly his life.

we should charge him with attempted murder. I mean, if he intentionally went out there and tried to end his life, shouldn't criminal charges follow? We have the video tape to prove it...

Had Delholme been injured, there's a good chance that such charges are exactly what would have happened. That was well beyond football... and Suh is one lucky young man that the vet wasn't hurt.

There seems to be some serious overreaction in this thread. It was a facemask. The other part was legal, he had him half around the helmet half around the shoulderpads and tossed him, he didn't throw him by his facemask. The part after the facemask wasn't even flagged.
