Yea, nobody can miss Brandon Marshall downfield. People seem to forget that Campbell was throwing to Moss, who he should have hit more often, but aside from being occasionally fast, Moss does absolutely nothing to help a qb and he is tiny.
By that I mean he can't catch, can't adjust to ball, can't outmuscle corners, can't win a jump ball, and runs inconsistent routes.
True, but I think we all saw how awful those deep passes were... I don't think Lebron could have gotten a hand on any. Some of his throws were 10-15 yds in front of the guys.

Oh there will be excuses. I can almost hear them now.
He'll be fine. He won't be asked to throw the ball 50 times a game. That means less pressure on him from the defense.
I'm sorry, we could have old-ass John Riggins starting for us and our running game is still better than the E-girls.
Plus ATX is right. The WR situation is a train wreck. I really hope we can get a young, TALL guy like Vincent Jackson to play opposite Santana. Next years FA target has to be a WR stud.

#2- JCam is gone. There is no changing that. So there is no reason to revisit "would we rather have kept JCam?" and no I wouldn't, why.... cause the team finally realized they couldn't get JCam to correct his issues so they decided to finally get rid of him. Something that should have happened a long time ago.
#3- I was not a fan favorite of us picking up McNabb. I'm over that now. Simply put this is the Allen/Shanahan show. Cerrato is gone Shanahan wanted McNabb, he was able to get SB quality out of Elway who was the same age as McNabb, and lastly lets let a HC finally take full control with out hindering his ability to run the team.
The question no one is asking McNabb which I am more interested in is which offense does McNabb think is better....the Eagles or this offense he's in now? Does he feel this one provides more opportunities to score? Obviously he's not going to trash talk his new team or his new teams scheme but I'd like to know what the differences are and which he liked better? I would imagine he would feel more confortable in the Eagles scheme since he was in it for so long. I'd just be interested in what he see's as being different, better, or worse from his stand point. Especially since both HC's were from the Holmgren tree.

He can't adequately answer that question considering he has exactly ZERO game experience in Shanahans' offense. And until he gets comfortable (at least 1 full year), I don't think he'll have adequate experience in the latter to compare.

McNabb is no longer the qb he was in his peak years with the Eagles, same as Brunell wasn't when he came here from Jacksonville. We will get some emotional play from him against the Eagles and a few other games, however I don't expect him to be at Pro Bowl level at this point in his career. Upgrade at QB compared to in the past? Yes. Answer for years to come? NO
I could care less if McNabb is good enough to be a Pro Bowl QB and neither does any of the players or coaches here - all they want is a QB that can get the job done and be a leader
Campbell had his chance and indicated that he was going to be the QB and leader that many thought he could be - guess what he did not even come close

You hit it right on the head but I'm honestly ok with this situation. McNugget want's it RIGHT NOW and if we get to the NFC champ game and lose, he'll most likely come back to try at it once more. I have tempered my expectations for this season. I believe the team will be much better with McNabb but I still don't believe it is a playoff year. I watched a lot of McNabb living here in Philly and I still have some reservations about him.
Yea, every time I look at the practice report it says that McNabb has been picked off by Carlos Rogers on a deep pass to Santana Moss. He must have 4 off him by now. Hopefully McNabb will figure out that unless he is wide open there is no need to throw the ball at Santana, because he will not fight for it.
This is the NFC East, and if you have a hole it will be exploited. Giants secondary, Eagles run D, Cowboys secondary. We had many holes last year but we still have a glaring one at WR. Since the line has gotten better it might not seem as bad. But we'll see.
On a side note, why is it that when MCNABB comes in everybody wants to talk about how bad the receivers are? They've been like that for a decade.
Why even ask the question of Campbell or McNabb? Its a no brainer. Has there been a QB in the history of the NFL that people have made more excuses for than Campbell? He seeems like a nice guy, but he is a back up QB

McNabb will also make more big plays than bad passes. And he is not going to throw the ball out of bounds on 4th down as the game winds down like Campbell did. A pop warner QB would know better, but Campbell didn't
