How much playing time for the 1st team Offense?

Post by everydayAskinsday »

Just curious as how to much playing time everyone thinks the 1st team offense will get tonight.. and how much time do you think they SHOULD get..

Im pretty sure the patriots offense played at least through the 1st quarter which is what Im hoping to see tonight.

That's been pretty common for the 1st team to play the 1st qtr. Now if you've got a player that's just killing it like DeAngelo Williams did last night for Carolina, then you sit that guy. It's a good time to get a backup RB in there to get reps with the 1st team.

I would love to see Thomas get in there with Donovan at some point to see if their timing is down pat. But they could be saving that for the regular season too.

Totally agree Frank, they've been down on Thomas so I'm curious to see why or if he's improved any since camp.

I think Thomas is having the same problem with this offense as he had with Zorns. It's the mental part of the game. I don't think he has any physical issues at all. He just may need to study more than most.

Though the first offensive unit - led, for the first time, by quarterback Donovan McNabb - is expected to play just 15-18 plays against the Bills, conclusions will begin to be formed about Shanahan's offense and its fit for Washington's personnel.

15-18 plays for the offense - heck that could be all first half!

3&punt, 3&punt, 3&punt... It might be the second 1/2 before the starters sit if they paly 15 plays.

Oh, wait! That was our old offense. I hope they are gone after one good series or two.
