He has created tons of negative perceptions among fans and the team as a whole regardless of weight and conditioning.
I am not really sure how this is going to come out yet. It could go either way. i hope it works out but I am not placing any bets either way.

Daniel Snyder has defined incompetence, failure and greed to true Washington Redskins fans for over a decade and a half. Stay away from football operations !!!

If true, it's a good sign that his intent... at this time... is to come in and reclaim his credibility. That could result in a motivated and charged up Haynesworth who wants to re-establish his value, and encourage other teams to bid him up... If true, that could only be good for the Redskins.
'course, he's still Albert, so... my money's staying in my pocket...

HOPEFULLY he shows up in shape - the franchise and Haynesworth are in a better situation with this guy looking and acting like he really wants to play - we might still trade him but we'll get more if he's in great shape and looks like his attitude is focused on playing defense in the manner he is capable of - whether that is in B&G or another uniform
as i have indicated before, a friend of mine who is close to friends of Snyder had heard that Haynesworth was getting in shape this offseason and despite the reported differences with the coaching staff, he wanted to be in better shape than he was last year to be more effective - wherever he ends up playing

Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

He's going to come in and cause havoc against opposing offenses. The defense will have a good year, he'll get his stats and all will be well. Both sides just have to swallow their pride and put the best interest of the team at heart. Al needs to get over himself and the FO/team/players have to be ready to not hold a grudge.
The road to the number 1 pick gaining speed!

Al was 362 in April according to the article, he is now 330 (again according to his trainer) He was listed last year at 350.
I think way too much has been made of this thing. We have guys who can play nose in the 3-4. The thing with AL is that if he plays the nose we have a probowl calibur playmaker right in the middle of a vicious defense instead of just "a guy".
I am rooting for AL to come in make plays and hopefully make the probowl so that we can get good value for him next year. Look he's been paid and there is nothing the Skins can do about that now. Let's get a good year out of him, then draft or trade for a replacment next year.

No need to bother with full context... right?

Does 30 pounds get him down to playing weight or 30 pounds over playing weight?
I'm pretty sure if you read the article, all you need to know is in there.
Yeah, I read the article. My trainer will tell you that I am 6'1" and weigh 195 pounds. Yeah right!!! When Pigs Fly!!! The trainer says what he is paid to say. We shall see when training camp opens. I sincerely hope that Haynesworth comes in at what the trainer says.
If Haynesworth decides to do his best playing whatever the coaches put him into, great. He can be a dominating force when he wants to be.

Did you see the pic? He looks a lot trimmer than last year.
