Yup and that captain is now on trial in Japan for boarding a Japanese vessel with weapons.....

So what that it happened 6 months ago....Do you think everyone knows or CARES what's going on, on this planet we call home???

right, cultures have hunted whales since ancient times....but today's hunting by Japan is going on illegally in protected waters.

Some of these animals are on the endangered list....going the way of the dodo bird.

Its slightly off topic, but I just want to say that I saw "the Cove", and that stuff is messed up. Dolphin meat is obviously dangerous, the government knows that, why cover up the dolphin slaughter? Really makes you question Japanese government.
