Interesting perspective

Post by BossHog »

From Cowboys official site:

If you can believe this, former Redskins running back Stephen Davis, the free agent signed this off-season by Carolina, has rushed for 100 more yards than the combined total of Cowboys running back Troy Hambrick (444) and Redskins leading running back Trung Canidate (295) after eight games. Davis is the NFL's second leading rusher with 839 yards, trailing only Baltimore's Jamal Lewis.

Good for Stephen! I knew he would flourish in Carolina! I would have preferred to find a way to make him "fit" with Spurrier's offense but, in my opinion, his talents were being wasted here. I'm happy for him. I wish him all of the luck in the world.....until, of course, the Redskins play Carolina!

Yeah, hard not to miss SD.

...just wasn't in the cards with his salary and the new system, but I, like you, wish Stephen nothing but the best.

I miss him as well....and am starting to wish we'd have kept Marty and used Stephen as our battering ram to kick some serious ass. Think what Stephen could have done with our current line.

Our defense would benefit as well, by not being on the field so freakin much!
God bless our troops and Joe Gibbs.
We'll miss you, Joe.

Stephen is a horse and I definitely miss him but as everyone else has stated - wish him the best. Class player - unlike so many in the game today.

I sure hope we have our defense figured out before we play Carolina - otherwise he is going to have a big day.
