who's better at their craft: Welker or Chrebet

Talk about the AFC, NFC, the NFL Draft, College Football... anything football that has no Washington Football Team relevance.

who's better at their craft: Welker or Chrebet

Post by tribeofjudah »

Ok....who would you pick on your team? I'm a big fan of Wayne, though he was always under-rated. He was clutch in most games.

I know Welker is a beast of a slot receiver.... and we know what he has done in NE.

But I would pick Chrebet....... little know college, undrafted (I think) and make some fantastic highlight reels.

I hope my not comparing apples to oranges here....

Reasonable comparison.

Welker... he contributed significantly to championship teams.

Just by name recognition, I'd say Welker. The little guy is like a greased eel...he just can't be covered.

If we're talking about Reggie Wayne he was #2 for the majority of his career behind Harrison. Easily the best tandem this decade IMO.

Vet, he's talking about Wayne Chrebet...

And, thinking about the topic, it's just very difficult to put one on top... while Welker has rings (and can say that his contributions were a big part of getting them), I suddenly realized that Chrebet made his rep while playing for Rich Kotite... That's no small handicap.

I don't really think you could go wrong with either one.

My bad, referred to one guy by first name and one by last, that's where I got the Reggie Wayne association.

Welker by a mile. Chrebet was a good player for sure. Welker if he continues the pace he is currently on will be in the hall of fame.
