Crazyhorse, I'm not picking on you and I don't want to start an argument. This is just the most recent example I've seen.

What is the hate on Rocky for? He's not rewriting the position, but he's a solid LB and I'm not getting it. Can someone please explain, maybe with a little logic and just a LITTLE emotion (no tears, please) why so much hate for him?

It's really not all his fault..... those past injuries really haven't helped him. In fact, they may have reduced his speed a lil too much. It's just, he disappears in games a lot.

I dont understand the disdain for rocky either..

I get the past injuries being a problem but I dont feel like they have hampered him to the point of wanting him gone

The move to ILB in the 3-4 will be good for him and I think he will have a very productive year for us

I don't really feel one way or the other about Rocky. He's been neither great nor atrocious. I don't have any problem with his contract issues right now either btw. He was just unlucky enough to be one of those guys who got in a bad contract position this year. Credit to him for still making it to minicamp and doing the right things.

Didn't he have an ACL or an MCL thing year before last? Cost him most of the season?

I think he and Rogers were both out at the same time, that's the only one I can think of.

It was late in the season so he was only out a few games.

Rocky is a solid LB. He has shown he can bounce back from injuries as well. He is not yet a Pro Bowler but he is definatley a solid player. It all depends on how much he is asking for. If he wants pro Bowler money then we may have to cut ties with him. If he is asking a fair price then why not resign him?

It doesn't make any sense. Rocky was second on the team in tackles, second in int's, and second in forced fumbles. Apparently that's not good enough for some fans.

So this thread has been up a couple of days and no haters have surfaced? Does this mean that it's simply emotion and there are no tangibles to support it? Come on haters, I want to know why you hate!!!
