But, even if it is true, I don't see what the big deal would be. It's Haynesworth's business and something he'll have to take care of. Nothing for the coaches to worry about, IMO.

I was damn near crucified when I called the 2nd 'victim' of big Ben was a gold digger (not necessarily by you). How can this claim he justified here and not in big Ben's case?

Rape and fathering a child are two VERY different claims. And also, in Big Ben's case, he has both a history of these problems and in this case in particular there is a decent amount of evidence involved. It wasn't just a random woman claiming she had been raped.

So, the biggest difference I see is this: if Haynesworth is "guilty" here, it's not a big deal (except for his wallet ). If Ben is guilty, it's a serious crime.

All I meant is: if Ben did what that woman said he did, then he raped her. If Albert did what this woman said, he's the father of a child from their (consentual) relationship. I see a big difference between the two.

Sure. And I wasn't comparing them directly. But stomping on a guys face, during an NFL game and causing him to need 30 stitches is hardly an indication of good character. In fact, not much of anything Haynesworth has done in his NFL career would lead one to believe he has much good character. He's had trouble with his wife. Trouble with other women. Trouble with players. trouble with coaches. Trouble with motorists. I'm beginning to wonder if he gets along with anyone???
