Amazing Video - RIP #21

Post by BurgundyandGoldfaith »

I don't know if this was circulated before but I just came across it. It's the best thing I've seen in a long time. Seeing the flash of him crushing Pinkston from the Eagles almost brought a tear to my eye

Yes, he was a super star, and teams feared him. I still can't believe he's gone. I hope we win it all for him.

It still hurts me, honestly. I dunno why, but it does. I wore my #21 Authentic to work today. My favorite player, he definitely made me took an alternative perspective towards athletes and who they are as human beings.

It irritates me to see Redskin "fans" so intolerant of other players when Sean was a prime example of being misunderstood.

I still think about what could have been. So sad.

I still remember when we were terrible and good teams would come to town. He played better against better competition and was much of the reason we had seasons with 5 or more losses coming within 7pts or less. Without a pass rush no less,(Philip Daniels and Renaldo Wynn era) he was just beginning make QB's shy away from the deep ball against every team we faced. Practically assuming the position of two safeties at once as the centerfielder(which obviously no one else can do) he made deeper passes scarier to catch and dangerous to throw.

We were able to blitz more to generate pressure with an extra defender down in the box. I think that had more to do with Blache not blitzing than his personal style. Taylor could defend both sides of the field from 25 yards or more, with punishing shoulders, long strides, and a huge frame for leaping over guys like Randy Moss to challenge for the football.

Today he would be hands down the best, maybe the most intimidating safety ever. How old would he be now?

think about what he did when he was here, not what could've been bro. Meast lives among us in memory.
#21 (36) This IS and will always be the High watermark where all new DB's are measured.

My favorite Skin of all time. He definitely would have been a Hall of Fame player. The definition of how football should be played.

Wait.. #21, Sean Taylor, from the University of Miami played here? For the Skins? Whoooooooa :-s

Sike naw, I miss that guy for real. I'm happy we live in the world of technology so we can keep watching these kinds of highlights. What a total monster he was on earth.. I'm sure he's crackin bamaz still to this day up there.

The fans and the Team have not recovered from this loss on and off the field.

Makes us put in perspective our own lives for sure.

RIP
Daniel Snyder has defined incompetence, failure and greed to true Washington Redskins fans for over a decade and a half. Stay away from football operations !!!
