Attention THNers and the B&G Faithful
We the staff just wanted to drop a line to thank you all for another great season at THN. Our team may have stunk, but once again there were lots of Redskin fans gathered here to talk shop, share knowledge and sometimes just to commiserate.
We wanted to let you know that we might be making some changes here during the offseason... we have some upgrades to complete, some structural website changes, and other things; so we wanted to warn you before you all disappear into the offseason doldrums (as often happens once the football season is over).
We'd appreciate it if you would become one of our Facebook fans if you haven't already. If for some reason the board is down for a day or two, our Facebook page will be able to at least telling you what's going on as we will post updates about the progress there. We are also going to start using our Facebook page for a couple of other things next year - but you'll have to wait and see on that one. So if you're on Facebook... tag us as one of your pages that you follow and that way you'll get updates about everything that is going on around here.
I'd also like to ask you to use Facebook to send out our THN Facebook page to all of your friends... and help us get THN out there and even deeper into web world. We would surely appreciate it.
Thanks again to all of you who come here and make THN what it is - a haven for the Redskin faithful - your premier independent Redskin news source - where all thoughts and impressions are always welcome!
Be safe in the offseason, and keep bleeding that burgundy and gold.
See you soon!

As one of the longer tenured posters on this site I wanted to say Thank You to all you guys. Of course, I'd love to see you guys get in the forum a bit more to apply a bit more logic - but what you're doing elsewhere on the site is GREAT. It's great to see where this site has come from to mainly being a chat forum with weekly cartoons to now featuring blogs, player interviews and more and more photo's of Jake hanging with players after games.
Congrats to making this a great place for all our Redskins need. That's why the media is giving love to THN.

Thanks bud.
The media give some love to us because we have a lot of good resources here - on top of the blogs, the articles and the interviews - Bernie's cap chart is a tremendous resource cited and used by many, and the Redskins News Portal is arguably the best tool a Redskin can find on the internet.
The offseason may see even more great things coming for 2010, so stay tuned. if you look at our Facebook page, you'll see that we may be bringing in some very heavy hitting Alumni next year as well.
All brought to you by the blood, sweat and tears of some very special Redskin fans - the THN staff. My thanks go out to them.

This is the only site I visit also. Mostly check the boards for happenings. I've checked other sites for about 2 minutes and then come back for the simple fact that this is (for me anyway) the easiest site to navigate and sit in front by far. This definately includes facebook. I just can't figure it out. It makes me squint and I can't make sense of the comments half the time. I hate to admit it but I think I missed the facebook generation. My point is that I think THN is by far a better site and again, for me, much easier to get what I want. So, kudos to the staff here and my thanks as well. I will give the facebook a reluctant chance if that is the direction it goes.
Hail

Just to be clear - we aren't going the way of Facebook - i just wanted people to know that we may have some 'down time' when we're doing some of our updates. If we do, and the site is down a little bit - check Facebook to find out what's going on. We may also be running a year long contest next year that has some stuff on Facebook... so stay tuned. But the site is going to be the same, although you may see some additions, subtractions and improvements.
Thanks for all the kind words guys, and I know I speak for the staff when I say that we enjoy bringing you the site despite the enormous amount of work that sometimes goes along with it.

Sean Taylor was one of a kind, may he rest in peace.

Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)
