G4L almost got washed away in flood waters today.

I made an attempt to go to work but on the way the cops had the road blocked and told me to turn around, as I did I saw a car completely submerged underwater.

I called my boss and let them know, the question I got back was "is there any way around?"

Really!? I just told you that there are cars underwater and you want me to find a way around, greedy pukes.

I'm fortunate enough to have a boss that understands that our jobs are not as important as life itself. Rarely is a job so important that it won't be there tomorrow. A job can be replaced, you cannot. Stay safe.
