0:56 shows what the ZBS is all about, you can see how the aggressiveness of the DE's is used against them which should work great in our division

I'd assume zone-blocking-scheme.

Yes ZBS stands for Zone Blocking Scheme

The clip shows a LT allowing at DE to rush outside then sprinting to the second level to take on LB's while the RB goes inside said DE.

It's typically common courtesy to spell out an acronym the 1st time it is used...

Especially when the video you post along with it has almost nothing to do with what you are talking about.

Now, if one was to post a link to edifying information regarding the ZBS, it'd be something like this...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CVocXGnopiA&feature=related

That link is an audio excerpt from an interview with a RT of the Texans, he's discussing how 3-4 alignments can be a challenge to ZB.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YlmZzoy9uNU&feature=related A video example of ZB.

Now that scheme got me thinking... On the orig. post, see how that RB flashed a burst to get thru the blocked line... Do we have a guy that can do that? We have 3 "grizled" vets, maybe they can rotate on thru so that they can flash like that? Otherwise, the ZBS will be good for 3-4yrds / clip....

I know one thing for sure - no matter who is carrying the ball or run blocking for him, Mike Shanahan is going to make the run game here a whole lot better than it was last year

We were the 13th of 16 teams in rushing stats

We had 24.4 att/gm for a whopping 3.9 per carry and even better, the AVG was 94.4 per/gm

We scored 8 rushing TDs and had 72 first downs rushing all year

Detroit was the only NFC team to have less 20+ yard rushes the whole season - they had 5 and we had 6

that has got to improve - we need an offensive line and Shanahan is going to make sure he has one :D
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. Those two and MIL(some letter after E) should probably stay in smack.

And in my defense, I've seen Fouled being used in both terms when asking other people what they meant. I'm admitting it was poor judgment on my part, but let's not bandwagon. I'm sure the staff can handle it on their own.

Vet,
I was just busting your gonads. I think the "F" can stand for whatever the reader wants to put in. I have heard all three acronyms used in primetime on network TV, so they can't be too bad.

Heck I heard Greenie from Mike and Mike blasting someone for using bad language then not five minutes later used SNA_U on the air.

Hey I'm a retired Sailor and used to use the F-bomb all of the time and now I substitute the BSG version, so if I slip I say Frak instead. (I hope that doesn't run me afoul of the moderators, even though it is good to go on TV)
