Dennis Morris is a BEAST

Dennis Morris said Mike Shanahan told him he'll play FB, TE and H-Back.

A beast.... Don't even post before watching the video.

Wow... this dude is a monster of a blocker for being a TE. That's exactly what Shanny was looking for. He can cause trouble for alot of good DEs trying to rush #5, and then can break off and make a good catch.

The guy does not give up his play until the whistle is blown.. lol. At first I was surprised we drafted another TE, but you can see how gifted this kid is. He can do alot of good things on this offense.

This guy can easily play FB too and be replacing big Mike... I say we trade Mike for more draft picks in 2011 after picking up this guy.

I like his ability to run the 8 -12 yard route. Check out the blocking scheme his team uses on some of those pass plays. I think Shannahan is stockin his own type and got a good one

Sounds good! I was kind of bummed somebody beat us to Cody Grimm in the 7th round though.

Yeah I didnt like the pick cause I didnt know who he was. However, watching that video I love this kid. He plays hard to the end of the play and after. He is putting LBs on their ass the entire play and then stays on them.

Sellers play dropped off a cliff this last year and at times he was down right awful. I dont know what happened but I saw him miss way too many blocks. He still has a year or two left in as a good starting FB but good idea to get a backup in there.

Sad to say, but this guy will replace Sellers. Gonna be awesome watching this guy on special teams. Love how it takes three people to get him down every time he gets the ball

At first I thought another TE, why. Then after seeing the video, I love this kid. If all he ever did was block I would be happy. I think a future fan favorite was gotten with this pick.

He will probably be the replacement for Mike Sellers which I understand. Initially, when we announced a Tight End pick, I thought it was the most mystifying pick we could have made.

But, after seeing how compact and powerful he is, and hearing from Shanahan that they will use him as a FB, it makes total sense.

Mike Sellers is in great shape, but he is turning 35 this year. Good pickup.

I watched the video from youtube and his blocking is what impressed me most. He's very fast and hits with a burst, should compliment well with the zone-blocking. Good pick.

Well, Dennis Morris does look like a beast in that highlight video, but let's not forget he's playing against sub par teams in most cases... now if he looked like this vs. the SEC, he'd be a 2nd/3rd rounder.

Most cases yes, but there was also some Auburn in there and I think LSU. I thought the same thing as you, but he does appear to be a very gifted athelete. I also really like the way he does stay with a play until the end.

Wow, I saw the pick and thought, great, another TE. After seeing this vid, I saw wow, GREAT a BLOCKING TE! Dude's a beast. He can hold his own against DE's I wonder how he will do against nfl caliber DE's.

Longterm I could see them looking at him as a Sellers type replacement on Offense and teams...

Don't sell this guy short because he's from La. Tech. He's not just an awesome blocker. They split him out as a WR on many plays and he made some great catches, including an ESPN Play of the Week TD catch against 1st round pick CB Kyle Wilson. The guy can block, he can run routes, knows how to find the soft spot in the zone and can go up and make a catch. I am really excited about this guys prospects if he comes to campy hungry for a job.
Build through the draft!
