Jets get Cromartie

Talk about the AFC, NFC, the NFL Draft, College Football... anything football that has no Washington Football Team relevance.

Jets get Cromartie

Post by SkinsJock »

it seems that Ryan has made a trade to get this very good player - going to be interesting to see if he works out with a little more discipline from Ryan

Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

Heard it's a 3 that can become a 2. This could be very good for both teams.

My brother called me up at like 4am and wouldn't stop trash talking about how the Jets are going to the super bowl but i caution Cromartie has problems off the field with paternity suits and child support problems and he takes plays off and is not a good tackler but if Ryan can get him in line the Jets have two shut down corners and that's scary.
The difference between a successful person
and others is not a lack of strength,
not a lack of knowledge,
but rather in a lack of will.
-Vince Lombardi

The will to win is the greatest gift a football player can possess

I don't think those off the field issues are going to come on the field. He's not goign to be forced to cover the #1's, Revis will so that'll take a lot off of Cromartie and open up opportunities for him for INT's - the dude has GREAT hands.

I agree but I'm glad he's not here because I don't think he's the type of team player that Haslett needs in re-shaping this defense - he's going to be a distraction but I think Ryan can handle him
