I think they will try and give Lovie as much as they can (maybe Chester Taylor as well) but he's on a very short leash

A Redskins' trade for Sproles? Don't count it out yet.
When the San Diego Chargers tendered Darren Sproles on Thursday, many fans probably scratched the 26-year-old running back off their free agency list. After all, it'd be foolish for any team to part with first- and third-round picks for a guy who's never had more than 100 carries in a season.
A week earlier the Chargers had said they wouldn't tender Sproles, making him an unrestricted free agent, but it seems that when the Chargers realized there was sufficient interest, they opted to tender him because they knew they could get something in return.
It seems the Charters are very much willing to trade Sproles
and we're hearing that you shouldn't count the Redskins out.
It's not clear what exactly any team would have to give up to acquire Sproles, but the San Diego Union-Tribune says it'd be less than a first- and third-round tender.
Sproles is a running back who could help the Redskins in several areas. For starters, it'd give them a change-of-pace back to complement Clinton Portis. But he'd also be a key special teams addition. The Redskins on Thursday got rid of Rock Cartwright, their
primary kick returner until late last season, and Antwaan Randle El, their primary punt returner. Sproles was fourth in the NFL in kick-return yards last season and also returned one punt 77 yards for a touchdown.

I definitely wouldn't give up a 1st for him. I don't know if I'm confortable giving up a 2nd for him, and I don't think the Chargers are going to take a 4th for him. I don't like the sounds of this.
