By everything, he wasn't kidding. "(Bleep) USA! (Bleep) USA!" some of the bitter Canadians were chanting in the arena's upper reaches as the demoralizing reality sank in.

The -Canadians- handled their WIN with class today. When I say -Canadians-, I mean all -Canadians- from coast to coast to coast. :wink:

Great Final game guys. Miller is a great goaltender. MVP of the games for sure. But Syd the Kid, my neighbour and the brother of my daughter's classmate scored in overtime.

USA overachieved according to most observers. They played "Canadian style" hockey and it worked. USA's 2nd goal was scored by the son of a Canadian hero who scored the winning goal in 1972 against the Soviet Union. Go figure.
