Hognostication Playoffs - Divisional Round

Talk about the AFC, NFC, the NFL Draft, College Football... anything football that has no Washington Football Team relevance.

Hognostication Playoffs - Divisional Round

Post by Deadskins »

Well, the seeding was obviously correct, as the two fourth seeds advanced over the fifth seeds. The HHC game went to overtime, but REDEEMEDSKIN pulled out the victory over SkinsJock. Over in the DHC, it was a differemt story, with jeremyroyce pitching a shutout against poor tribeofjudah, who seemed as if he never even got off the team bus.

So here is the tournament bracket:

Divisional Round____Championship Round__Hognosti-Bowl V_____Playoff Champion

HHC:

Going with the favorites! I think the Saints and Vikings are tough calls, but I can't actually pick either for the upset. What I do think looking at the teams playing is that it's going to be a high scoring weekend. So I'm going with:

Saints/Colts/Vikings/Chargers

Points = 199

Well, I guess the real competitors have all got their picks in place, so as a former champ* :) I'll give it a try too

Saints
Colts
Vikings
Chargers

194

looks like a lot of guys here think it's going to be a bombs away weekend
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

well how about that - with 1 game to go it looks like the "under" was the right call - oh my!

Counting your chickens before they hatch? Hey, they could score 72 points in the fourth quarter. Happens all the time. And it's 72 BETWEEN the two teams, doesn't matter which scores how many.

But seriously, congrats. I never picked points over 4 games before. Even with so many O teams left, 199 in the playoffs is too many.
