I had no idea about Zimmer
Don't matter where you are.... YOU'RE IN REDSKINS COUNTRY!
I understand that Shanahan wants him but this is a guy that could be looking bigger - he would be a huge asset if Shanahan & Allen can bring him in
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

Everyone has reported that Cinci isn't willing to pay him after his contract ends this year. Also, he might be another father/son tandem to be on the Redskins as his son is a defensive position coach for the Saints (not sure what position) that could have a job here.

Zimmer is a great name. He's had a rough year with his Wife passing expectantly. I could see him deciding to hang it up. His defense went to the playoffs and could - barring this weekends results go decently far in the playoffs. That's not a bad way to end it.
With that being said, I'd love to have him here as from what I've heard from players on NFL network, they love the guy and they love playing for him. I guess that's called a "Players Coach."

Daniel Snyder has defined incompetence, failure and greed to true Washington Redskins fans for over a decade and a half. Stay away from football operations !!!

I noticed it looked like bringing in Mike Zimmer would mean we were changing to a 3 - 4 defense. Does anybody have an opinion on that? Do we have the right players for that defense?

I would be surprised if the new DC would install a 3-4 when he does not currently have the players to suit - we are in a re-build mode but I do not think they want to make that drastic a change - I believe we will try to make the best use of the players that they have

whomever the DC is, I hope he uses the tools in the toolbox.. Play DE's at DE etc. I think the D's got enough talented players that they can hold their own if they are allowed to play to their strengths, well all except for LL30 and CR22, them two you need to sceme to their strengths.
