Greetings and My Opinion

Post by Rackateer »

Ah Jim Zorn is history and the list should only grow from here, starting with Dan Snyder selling the team to an owner who has the desire to hire a Coach that has a firm grasp on Team Building, coupled with the knowledge to produce winners.

I remember when Dan purchased the skins and from there, it's been downhill. He obviously thinks he can buy the Superbowl or a winning team and after 10 years, he still doesn't get it.

I am a Joe Gibbs fan, this fine example of a Coach, Leader and Gentleman was able to teach, team build, manage and mold tons of raw talent into a consistent winning machine, on and off the field. He didn't tolerate excessive showboating or the demonstration of the "I" mentality.

I also think football has taken a turn for the worse over the years, where players and coaches are being paid on the pretense of performing, instead of earning their paycheck. I think the league is not as tough as it used to be either, on the field...."Illegal touching"....what's next, "Illegal looking"?

So I am hoping, as I am sure many of you old-schoolers are, that the new GM gets down to serious business and brings back the quality Coaching and players that we long time Skins fans deserve.

See you guys out there
