Bring Back Lavar if he can still play!

Post by HEROHAMO »

Ok guys I dont really know if Lavar is healthy or not. But, I must admit with a new GM in place I have a small hope that Lavar is in shape and come back to the Skins to finish his career. Heck he is still involved he always has something to say about the Skins. Clearly there is unfinished business.

So yes I know it is a near impossibility but If you are reading this Lavar come back! We all want you back(well most of us!) :D

Lavar would fail just like his restaurant did. Not a chance.

I can't help laughing sometimes. Some of these threads are funny as hell, without having to read anything more than the title :-)

Lavar isn't welcome back in my world.

Wow, we're in December and correct me if I'm wrong but isn't this your first bring back Lavar thread this season, herohamo?

BTW, I thought his career was already over.

Not more than 5 minutes ago, Lavar said on his show that he knew his career was over when he tore his achilles.

He (thankfully) ain't comin' back.

Sonny would be an upgrade at QB for sure but I'm not sure Lavar could help anymore - be good to see him on the sidelines but it would be a horrible mistake to have him on the field again in any capacity
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

I knew I would conjure up opposition. I know the reality I just have a very small hope. It is fading every year though. So little time is left.

Lavar you still have some good health left. Get your butt in the gym and get on it before it is really too late.

Here's a suggestion, call his radio show and speak to him directly. Or send him a message directly via twitter. By all means, do everything possible to get it in your head that HE WILL NEVER EVER AGAIN PLAY FOR THE REDSKINS!!!

Have a nice day. :)

Well, he torpedoed the bridge when he left even if he were still an NFL player. You're dreaming. In your dreams that he return.

Hmmm...I need to work on that one. :-k

LaVar is only 30 years old... and in 2003 it certainly looked like he'd become a huge star, maybe even the next LT... and yet, he totally stumbled. All the talent in the world, but he just didn't have the drive, or the football IQ to become a success.

He played sparingly the next 3 seasons, and he's been out of the game for 3 years after that. In addition, he's a fat radio host now.

There is no chance he ever plays another down. Oh what might have been.

He was football dumb, more than anything. He played on instinct only, and clearly wasn't a student of the game. Sometimes those instincts were right, and he made huge plays; most of the time, he just ended up playing out of control.

Well it is no secret that Lavar left on a sour note. OH and yes I suppose I am dreaming. It does not hurt to try though.
I will tell you guys how he responds when I tweet him. If he responds at all. :D

For the most part are right. He was a free lancer. But with numerous defensive coordinators and head coaches there was never any sense of direction or continuity. Even now.

All though I love Gibbs I hated how Lavar and Gibbs did not get along. Anyhow we are way past all that. No need to rehash the past.

I will contact Lavar and suggest getting back into shape to play. Then I will see if Bruce Allen has a twitter account and suggest things as well. HeeHee Hee. :D

Joe Gibbs got rid of LaVar in the same way he wanted to get rid of Theismann and Riggins in 1980... he's still a lousy talent evaluator.

Nick did you start this thread :? because as much as I loved Lavar as a player it was clear he was done even after he left us and joined the Giants. Too many injuries killed his playing days.
