Orakpo named to Pro Bowl
Roster up at NFL.com:
http://www.nfl.com/probowl/story?id=090 ... nfirm=true
No mention yet of who might be alternates. This year, Super Bowl teams won't have their players in the Pro Bowl, which will bring more alternates into play in addition to the usual collection of sick-outs and beg-outs.

Well done to Orakpo, but the whole Pro Bowl thing is still a joke. Fletcher and Carter are just as deserving as Orakpo, in my opinion. And the absence of Haynesworth also suggests something smelly going on. I don't believe that his play has dropped off at all from his time with the Titans, and his impact on Carter and Orakpo's stats is obvious.
Suddenly, from being the best defensive tackle in the game, he isn't even one of the top three in the NFC?

Big congrats to Brian but the Pro Bowl is a sham and IMO the media should be exposing the issues with a lot more force
For Brady to miss out in 2006 should have been the death knell for this BS - AND for London Fletcher to miss out on all those years when he truly should have been included just makes me mad
I really think that this group is just a great collection of NFL players but it has lost a lot if not all of it's credibility
I have not (since 2007) and will not watch this made for TV reality show using NFL athletes
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

I'm sorry, I love Orakpo, but he was voted in as a linebacker. He was not a top 3 linebacker in the NFC. Every play he made was as a DE not as a linebacker. I know they haven't figured out how to deal with these hybrid DE/LBs, but I could see where one of these OLBs with 100 tackles, a couple INTs, a couple FFs, and a couple sacks would be upset about Orakpo going as an OLB...
I'm happy for him, and I'm a homer like anybody, but when I think Redskin Pro Bowl Linebacker, I think Fletcher...

No, he wasn't robbed. He just dropped his wallet.

Congrats to Orakpo!
Carter was definately screwed. #1 DE in the NFL in Tackles and #5 in Sacks! No DE had a better year than Carter.
Sorry but London didn't deserve to go to the Probowl. The players selected were beter.

No. I heard they threw him an invite and he dropped it! They tossed him another, but he was burnt on a double move!
