It is hard to disagree with him on that. The way they played against the Giants looked like a team who was mailing it in.

He's no stud at QB, but if the team played with Campbell's toughness and desire we'd be a LOT better off.

There is no such thing as a free lunch in this life.

Danny wanted the good publicity of a new GM hire. He wanted to deflect bad publicity on a nationally televised MNF game. He got rid of the loyal Fall sidekick Cerrato to serve yet his last purpose.

But these movements have prices too. Like, ... who is really evaluating me? This dead HC walking? The GM? Are you kidding? If I am a player, I am here or I am not ALREADY. All I want is my health and probably get the hell out of this organization ASAP (unless I am stuck with a huge contract which makes everything fine).

Danny has created a Monster. It can be fixed but it ain't gonna be easy or in one season. The environment is too rotten for it to work out soon.

But the most important implication of this is ... Jason may not be coming back. You cannot make those statements and expect to be back. My 2 cents
Daniel Snyder has defined incompetence, failure and greed to true Washington Redskins fans for over a decade and a half. Stay away from football operations !!!

Since we have a severe talent shortage on offense, I can forgive somewhat its pathetic game against the Giants. What I can't forgive is the defense. Inspite of its talent, it was incredibly awful-- the worse showing I've ever seen from any D in the NFL. The worse, absolutely. Not even token resistance, combined with so many mental errors I lost count. Absolutely pathetic, play after obvious play. About nine of the eleven deserved benching after the second drive, maybe sooner. I really think Monday was the worse Redskin day in the history of the franchise, the real kicker being that they were beaten much worse than the score indicated.

The worse omens for the future, however, were the failures of Jones and Mike Williams. If those two are as bad as they looked, we need four offensive lineman pronto, which we can not get. Even worse, it looks like Okung will be gone before we can draft him and there's no OT of quality after him. I think we'll draft Bradford in the first round. If we do, I think we should go after a cream of the crop center in the second round. Casey is though, now apparently even unable to snap the ball dependably. For OT's and a guard we will have to pick up FA's or do without, which means our OL will suck again next year. If we pick Bradford, perhaps we can get
an OT for Campbell. I'd try to trade Portis for an older linebacker so Orakpo can move Daniels into retirement. I'd trade Landy for an OT in a heartbeat.

By the way, I don't like the choice of Allen. He's always coasted on his father's rep, like his dim-witted brother. Snyder's not going to give him the reins. He'll be Vinny revisited, just part of the NFL social club. You don't inherit football smarts. You earn them by being a tough guy and working your way up. [/i]

Yea, there is no way the skins can compete with the giants against their D-line. The skins have a college O-line out there right now. Its just not a fair matchup. I made some good money against the spread on this one. But I agree, I have no idea what the defense was doing. One thing I do know is that Eli had way too much time and we probably needed to leave more people in coverage. However, they figured that out later, and still got burned.

Now as far as drafting Bradford goes, I really hope they don't. I might puke. He's frail. And the idea of putting him behind a bad offensive line is terrifying. He is slow. HAVE to go OT, I don't care how much of a stretch it is. Shouldn't be too bad, somebody will pick up some steam and be draftable at that point. Maybe that Anthony Davis guy from Rutgers, he's a beast. I do agree we need to go guard in round 2. Or Rb. One of the two. I'd also like to sign T.O. to a reasonable contract. Yea, I said it.

It certainly looked like it. The whole team looked like they phoned it in for the fourth quarter, JC included. Maybe some actually just quit playing, which might be what he's talking about.

I just don't want to hear any BS excuses about that game. I don't know what Bruce Allen has to do with our defense just getting rolled for the first 30 minutes of that game. JC should have called a few guys out by name. How about Rock not putting in a chip block and letting Umeniyora blow right past to nail Campbell? That was disgraceful.

I'm sure this season has sucked for the players as much or more as it has for us. But have some pride in yourself as an athlete and a competitor. Show some respect for all of those people who paid to sit out there in the snow and watch you suck.

Can't say that I'm surprised. This team is completely devoid of leadership. Zorn isn't a leader, JC isn't a leader, there are no real leaders on defense, etc. Rock might be the closest thing that we have to a leader and he's a 3rd or 4th strong rb.

well yea, i see your point. It's hard to tell the difference between playing as bad as they did and quitting.

Yep, the bottom line is the environment in Redskins Park is poison right now. No clear direction and everyone feeling they are playing for no purpose. They haven't pulled together and they aren't motivated by anyone in management.

Next year, I hope Bruce cleans house. I don't know, with a possible un capped year, if he could somehow move D. Hall, Landry, Moss, ARE and others, but he needs to open up every job for competition and reward work ethic and performance. We have too many prima donnas who don't fear for their starting jobs. Some even point fingers at someone else before looking in the mirror.

If my predictions are correct, Suisham will lose this game for Dallas.

Just don't bet the spread, hell, don't even bet the +/-

I don't understand how some of you people can just bury heads in the sand and act like everything with this team is just peachy keen.
