Two deaths in one year for the Bengle family. For what it is worth I will be rooting for the Bengles in the AFC for the rest of the year.
RIP Chris Henry

I usually read and seldom post in these forums just because I don't have anything to say that wasn't already said. But this does bring back the sad day ST went down. Even though it is sad it's not bad to remember, though I wish it weren't like this. If that makes sense.
Hail to the Redskins!

I did too unfortunately it won't let me post anything, but as Redskins fans we know what it feels like to lose a player on your favorite team, its like losing a friend or brother you haven't met yet. Condolences to the friends and family but also to the many, many Bengals fans whose hearts are broken from this tragedy.

We've been through it with ST, a young man who made a few mistakes but was turning things and by all account had turned things around when tradegy struck...Prepare yourself for some to say what they will...but this isn't the time for that this is a time to pray from Chris who like Sean seemed to be turning things around.
Agreed 100%.
Same here.
We Redskins fans know what this is like. I'm sure every news story will go out of their way to talk about whatever was in his past, to the neglect of whatever good things he had been doing as of late. There will a fair share of haters who come prancing around saying he probably deserved it before all of the details become apparent. It's a shame, and disgusting.
I will keep Mr. Henry and his family in my prayers. So sorry to have woken up to this news.
What they said.
RIP Chris.

So very sad, as I've previously stated. Notice the parallels with ST21's death.
1. Both were criticized for being trouble makers (I think ST was more mild)
2. both were injured and went home to heal and rehab
3. both were making stride in making personal life more meaningful (family, etc)
4. both were taken (departed) too young, too soon.
I don't know much about CHenry, may he rest in peace....but I sure DO miss Sean Taylor... May you both Rest In Peace....

Sadly you forgot #5) Both died tragic deaths unbecoming of a millionaire pro athlete. (Sean: victim of a botched robbery, lack of security at his home; Chris Henry, domestic dispute/violence, failure to wear a seat belt in a moving vehicle)

My heart goes out to Chris' friends, family and teammates. May they heal completely and turn out stronger than before.
