I've been here all season bro, just really only had time to help the staff do the staff stuff and not much time for posting.

Probably still won't have a ton, but I just couldn't pass up a few hours to hang out and sing, "Ding dong the witch is dead, the witch is dead..."

Bye Vinnie. You'll be missed.

My heart is aching already. Welcome back to the boards.

Charley Casserley is speaking wonders about Bruce Allen.

They asked Charley about Bruce bringing Gruden. He does not feel that a decision necessarily has been made.
Daniel Snyder has defined incompetence, failure and greed to true Washington Redskins fans for over a decade and a half. Stay away from football operations !!!

And I'm really glad they made this move more than 3 weeks away from the draft. This GM has a great chance to take a hard look at the team and do his evaluations!

If Bruce Allen has a talent it is as an administrator and as an assistant to the HC - he's apparently a bit of a genius with player salaries and the NFL cap

I have also heard that there are more things happening at the top here - I understand that it looks like Snyder is really making an effort to end up with a much better way of managing an NFL team

how good is this day?
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

Thanks buddy. Oh and thanks to frankcal20 too, forgot to mention that in the last message.

Good to be back. Some tough life lessons I had to learn, and some significant changes in my life; hopefully I can come back and bring some MUCH NEEDED logic to a few threads and questions.

Some of you should be ashamed of how you have fallen in my absence.

ROTFALMAO

I know misery loves company but for the love of Pete...

But today is a happy day - we got rid of one half of the two-headed monster.

Hopefully the other half will learn to be happy letting someone with a clue, play with his favorite toy. Otherwise, getting Allen won't mean jack.

But it is a start. And it is something that the Redskin Nation desperately needed. We've all had the living crap beaten out of us this year.

The stars do seem to be aligning.

If Allen could cope with Davis, he should have no problem pushing Snyder around.

This feels like the day the Caps drafted Ovechkin....

More like the day they hired George McPhee to draft Ovechkin. ;-)

Newsflash!

New Redskins GM knows the team colors... wears Bugundy and Gold tie to presser...

Does not speak of Maroon and Black.

But sometimes I have to make personal sacrifices (like not posting) to make sure that I have the time to do everything that is required to keep this site afloat for the whole community.
