Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Chris Henry is on life support after falling out of the back of a pickup truck in North Carolina, a source has told FOXSports.com's Alex Marvez. The source described the situation as "dire."
Henry was found in the road in south Charlotte "apparently suffering life-threatening injuries," according to Charlotte-Mecklenburg police. Henry was transported to Carolinas Medical Center, the local trauma unit, but spokesman Scott White said he was not listed in hospital records and had no other information.
Police said a dispute began at a Home just before noon and Henry jumped into the bed of the pickup truck as his unidentified fiancee was driving away from the residence.
We, as Redskins fans know what its like sitting around waiting for any kind of news to come out, I'm praying it goes better than the last time I did this.

I know he's had some problems in the past but it really seemed like he was getting his act together. I wish him the best and hope that he pulls through. It's not looking good right now but I hope that he's able to pull through.
I appreciate your posts here Washington fans. Total class. Chris Henry was on the right track when this tragedy struck. Forget football, I just want to see him healthy.

We've been through it with ST, a young man who made a few mistakes but was turning things and by all account had turned things around when tradegy struck...Prepare yourself for some to say what they will...but this isn't the time for that this is a time to pray from Chris who like Sean seemed to be turning things around.

Same here.
We Redskins fans know what this is like. I'm sure every news story will go out of their way to talk about whatever was in his past, to the neglect of whatever good things he had been doing as of late. There will a fair share of haters who come prancing around saying he probably deserved it before all of the details become apparent. It's a shame, and disgusting.
I will keep Mr. Henry and his family in my prayers. So sorry to have woken up to this news.
My condolences to Henry's family, friends, and to the Bengals organization and their fans...
