Good to see the 'Skins put away a bad team with authority.

Solid win, Hogs. The Raiders have given a lot of teams fits this year. Know it had to feel good to see everything come together for 60 minutes. Congrats.
Cowboys 7- Redskins 6 (All we needed was 2 minutes of the 60)
Cowboys 17 - Redskins 0 (Way to NOT show up for the 100th anniversary)

That is the bottom line... solid to excellent play in all 3 phases for 60 minutes... first time in forever!

30 plus points 2 weeks in a row, i like that! I hope whatever we do next year we get an experienced play caller in here. We have weapons on offense that can be used. Great game by Orakpo!!!!!!

Fred Davis had a great game along with Ganther! Orakpo came up big as well (defensive rookie of the year, anyone)?
Love it when we win big!

let's see..

1) Orakpo (or if your the announcer of the game today, Orapko) is an absolute BEAST...
2) Lorenzo Alexander looks like he wants to play more, between his ST and D plays, he looked good...
3) I would like to keep the O-line intact, but replace Heyer, or he needs to work his butt off this off season to improve...
4) From the limited appearances, Gano looks good...
5) Again, Davis and Thomas looked like promising young targets for the O...
6) Ganther looked good, wish they left him in more to get more momentum built up...
7) Obviously Landry needs to play SS, and the Skins cannot let him go out in coverage, he is TERRIBLE in coverage, it is a joke; outside of the plays he was in coverage, Landry played great...
8) ARE has to GO, what is left with his contract? He is terrible, all around...

THREE questions, opinions please...
1) What is everyone's thoughts on JZ as strictly a HC, with someone else calling plays next year? Or, do we manage to give Sherm Lewis the play-calling reigns next year?
2) Where does a contract offer, or lack thereof stand with JC? Is he the right fit under a Lewis-lead offense? I am up in the air now, after being COMPLETELY against it a few weeks ago.
3) Can this O succeed more with CP not on the team next year? I thing he has been great, but is it time to go in a different direction?

Comments, answers???

It there any agument now where to line up Orakpo??

The coaches have got to figure out LL he's just so talented they have to figure out how to use him.

Randle El is done has a PR for me.

I know the Jason saga will continue...My take is Jason has yet to have that signature win..I've come to the conclusion that he will be as good as the talent around him...he is not a QB who's going to win alot of game for you, He need a great D and a solid running game.

Big different today was the coaches playing to WIN...would have beat NO if they had coached like this last week.

DO we have any pass routed beyond 20 yards??

After what happened last week and hacing to travel to the west coast without Hall, Sellers and Hanyesworth...this is a nice win for the Skins!

I'm still trying to figure out the whole "Fred Davis can't celebrate in the end zone by dancing but the whole rest of the NFL can" rule.

I thought it had something to do with putting your hands in front of your face... I thought i heard/read before you cannot put your hands in front of your face, because Ganther danced and there was no flag... not sure though, either way, that was a weak penalty...

I think that he used a bad gesture during the celebration - I do not believe the penalty was for the celebration per se but a part of it
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

Nope.

The coaches have got to figure out LL he's just so talented they have to figure out how to use him.

Yup. 2 things... One: he MUST be used at SS, TWO: It would be good if a team mate would knock some of that arrogance out of him.

Randle El is done has a PR for me.
For me, that was the middle of last season.

I know the Jason saga will continue...My take is Jason has yet to have that signature win..I've come to the conclusion that he will be as good as the talent around him...he is not a QB who's going to win alot of game for you, He need a great D and a solid running game.
Agree. I want to see Jason LEAD this team from the deep woods.

Big different today was the coaches playing to WIN...would have beat NO if they had coached like this last week.
Yup

DO we have any pass routed beyond 20 yards??
In their defense... it was a wet ball game plan.

After what happened last week and hacing to travel to the west coast without Hall, Sellers and Hanyesworth...this is a nice win for the Skins!

On the positive side of it, though, we got to see our new kicker beam the ball 80 yards and then make the tackle himself. :)

This was very easily a game that we could have lost. The season is basically shot, we were on the road, and Oakland has given a few teams a hard time this year. It was really great to see the whole team come out and give us that effort.

I agree with CT and DEHog on Campbell. I will continue to stick to my position on him: he's not the answer, but he ain't the problem. Give him a decent line and receivers that catch balls when they hit their hands, and he'll be OK. Probably never great, but OK. There is NO reason that we should look to rebuild this team starting with the QB position this off season.

Great game. I loved it. Good to finally relax while watching the Skins.

The Cowboys don't want to play the Skins in late December. We are playing our best ball of the season.

I sense a rebuilding team that has finally figured out how to win. Oh, historical parallels are dangerous, but I can't resist: In '81 the Gibbs-skins lost their first five, moving the ball around, coming close, but making mistakes. Then they snapped together, and this site is named in "honour" of some of the most famous and most together units of that great team.

No, I don't expect that Zorn is Gibbs or that Blache is Petibon, but this team won.

Oh, and toward the end of the game it felt like Hogs Net was being overwhelmed with posts. That's good. It has been lonely for a few weeks, as the Skins seemed more and more hopeless. Redskin fans: we aren't spoiled, we don't expect perfection, we've suffered, so just give us a spark.

Oh: the team that played the last two weeks is the future. As the OL gets better, the team will lift.

Afterthought: it's nice to have a place-kicker who makes a 45 yard FG, eh?

Its now more apparent than ever.......Jason Campbell is the future for this team at qb..........dude is having his best statistical year ever and has established great rapport with davis and thomas......all the while running for his fricken life.......ice bath for soup tonight....i think with a litttle more protection dude consistantly gets 300 yards.................I think the offense has proved that there really is no need to blow it all up next year and should the o continue to produce dare i say zorn keeps his job and the skins try to reload??????

Portis too much cap space next year and seems to have lost interest in hitting the hole hard......dude does not play like he has something to prove like ganther does.........

our dline is beast we need to draft a fs and a OT next year
