This is how I see a few players doing so far this season.
Jason Campbell D Time and time again you have shown us that when we need you the most you cannot perform. Today was no exception. Made some decent throws but again even wide open recievers you can't hit in stride. At this point anyone that wants to keep you or has faith in you is dillusional, or such a homer they want Lavar back still....
Swisher Sweet D The kick (basically extra point) that could have had this team on ESPN every day until next Sunday, you missed. Your kickoffs never, never get to the endzone, and did I mention we have no shot at an onside kick because you don't know how to kick for it. Don't think I forgot that Sunday blooper. Solid for the most part but not clutch enough imo to keep your job.
London Fletcher B You would have gotten an A however you lack "Leadership skills". Someone needs to figure out why there are so many opposing players setting up picnic blankets behind our secondary. Since you have the green dot on your helmet, thats your responsibility. On a side note... Tell Laron to stop showboating after every single attempt he makes at taking someone down.
Please take a moment and grade a few for yourselves. Or rip my opinions apart. Either way.

He did, you tell me who had the better day...
Drew Brees - QB rating 102 something 35-49 419yds 2 TD 1 int (he also won the game)
Jason Campbell - not sure the rating, 30 -42 367 yds 3 TD 1 very costly int. Once again lost the game.
Also note that at the top of the thread it says "so far this year". or something like that.

I just told you. Campbell had the better day. More TDs, equal completion percentage, higher YPA, didn't take any sacks. His rating was a 111.9, fwiw.
On the season, Campbell's playing better this year than last year, and that's without the running game propping him up. I just don't think that's a D effort by any objective standard. If we're giving grades, today I give Campbell an A-, and a C+ on the season. Just because I want to see more doesn't mean what he's showing isn't good.

He lost the game. He threw an interception at the most inopprtune time. He choked. His one touchdown can be credited to DT great effort and RAC.
If Campbell had the better day why didnt he win. If I were basing my grades soley on stats for today, yes you would have been right.
However, you have completely missed the point of this thread. Campbell has a D for the year.
When looking at or evaluating Campbell fans need to stop looing at his TD's INT's passing yds. Look to see if he can win games, lead a 2 minute drill, rally the team, put some fire on the field. Drew Brees does all of these things for his team. With 10 seconds on the clock and no time outs the Saints recievers would be confident Brees could score. You cannot say the same about Campbell.
So, Campbell still gets a D on the year.
Just in case you were wondering about the curve, Brees would be getting an A so far because his team clinched the division already.

Not fair that you got to edit your post after the fact I already replied. I did however figure something out about you. You either live in Hoodbridge or Manasshole. I moved to Austin a year and a half ago from NOVA. I also see that you are oblivious to a map so I'm also going to let you know that when insulting the fact I'm from Texas at least get the closest team to my city correct, that team would be the Houston Texans. Wait wait....

I see your point, it's just that week in and week out he cannot get the job done.

no one. Jason gets a flat out B. He wasn't going to play a perfect game. No one has. Hell, this same defense shut down Tom Brady last week. No, I don't think Campbell is better than Brady or even in the same park but understand, that he had a good game.
Defense - They get a D-
Why? Because the offense gave them a 10 point lead 3 times. They allowed NO to march down the field and score ever time. They also blew several opportunities to create turn overs. They must capitalize.
Special Teams B
I give them a B because of the return game, punt game but not an A because of the miss, the snap that caused the miss and the unlucky bounce (which isn't going against us b/c that was just bad luck. Everyone did what they were supposed to) that hit our Rookie CB from MD (can't remember his name).

Frank Frank, I understand Jason looked solid at times today. But he crumbled when it counted.
Aside from that I was doing grades so far this year, not just today.

Most of the time except for one pass and that's not a reason to give out a D but it's subjective. You scrutinize the QB position very harshly. That's up to you. JC get's a 111.9 qb rating but not good enough. He threw one INT at a costly time but came back in later and was on target with a few passes yet again but we had a fumble. Poop (another word) Happens.

And see I would give him an I for incomplete because that is the line this past season. It was mentioned that there have been 5 different starting offensive lines this season. That's pathetic. The line in the past two weeks is playing lights out and he's getting hit a lot. I think my expectations are so low for them that anything better than a 5 sack game is improvement.

Frank, I love your loyalty. I use to defend JC whole-heartedly like yourself, but I keep going back to my main problem with him....the 4th quarter. After all our mistakes, he once again he had a chance to drive into FG range with 1 minute left against a defense that was reeling, and blew it. Like I keep saying 1 come from behind 4th quarter drive in a guys career that's almost at 50 starts is not good enough. Hell, even Bruce Gradkowski had a come from behind drive in the 4th quarter against the defending SB champs. I like JC, he seems like a solid guy, and he's a decent QB, buit he's not a winner......ansd if this organization doesn't think they need a change at the QB position, they're kidding themselves.

He did have his best game of the season, besides getting beat twice on double moves......too bad that's his main job, to keep the play in front of him. I'd love to see us bench LL next week in favor of Kareem Moore, and see if we can move LL in the off season. He's all show, no substance.

I want to see LL at SS before we let him go

I don't. I'm perfectly fine with Doughty & Horton combo next year. Those guys are always around the ball actually making plays. LL Is too busy trying to make Sportscenter to actually make a proper tackle.

This is the first time I'm ever going to agree with you on JC. He had a great game (for him)! He still throws a terrible deep ball, but managed to complete a few (but none of those were good passes just completions but much better than his norm) and missed some other wide open deep throws.
I had no doubt that he wasn't going to lead the team down the field before the end of regulation because as ATX pointed out he is "Captain un-clutch!". However, it was two or three plays after a Saints player took a late cheap shot at Campbell's left ankle trying to break it and no flag was thrown and if our idiot kicker makes a chip shot FG, then he played well enough to win. And again it still is his best performance as a pro.
The head umpire was clearly a Saints fan or had money on the game or under orders from the league to keep the Saints undefeated, because every replay that should have gone for the Skins, went against them. He was same guy that didn't make the call when the Saints defender hit JC low, trying to break his leg - hmm!
I give ST a D and the only reason it isn't a F is because DT had some decent returns. They (the kicker) missed the game winning FG and Barnes got hit by a punt giving the back to the Saints just before half!
Speaking of ST and the refs, can some please tell me how the Skins kick a ball off (free kick) and recover the ball and the ball is given back to the Saints!!!!!!

I see that some have decided to get off track again in their pursuit of their own agenda

after 12 games - or 75% of the season, I'll take a shot:
OC/Play calling - atrocious - Grade = F
QB - not a starting caliber QB - Grade = D
Offensive Line - we have had a terrible offensive line - Grade = D-
WR - coming along, slow start, progress has been evident but no help from the play calling OR the QB - Grade = C+
RB - not much help from the line but not making much of an effort either - Grade = C-
TE - Davis looks like a find and hopefully means we can use

Defensive Coaching - this could have been a lot better - players playing out of position and bad play calling - Grade = C-
Defensive Line - the addition of Haynesworth is huge - Orakpo is going to be great - Jarmon will be very good also, this group will only get better - Grade = B+
LB - Fletcher has been great, the others are progressing - need help here soon as Fletcher cannot keep this pace up - Grade = B-
DBs - Hall and Rogers have disapointed, not bad but not good either; Landry needs to be at SS - Grade = C-
Special Teams - overall this has not been a great year but giving Thomas and others a look at return duty has been a plus - coverage has been better - Suisham has to be replaced - Smith is doing well as a punter - Grade = B-
overall, as a franchise, I would grade this group so far this year, as a C-
we are not terrible but we are nowhere close to being a competitive team - maybe I'm a bit biased, but I do think that with good management we can be competitive in a short period but this is more because of the fact that there are just not many really good teams and we have less to do to be a good team than we have to do to become a dominant franchise again
btw - I would be very surprised if Suisham is kicking for us this week - you cannot miss that kick and it is worse that he's missed at least 1 other critical kick already

Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

Yeah 400 yards and 3 TDs, and this NFL analyst says he "made some decent throws".
