I guess he personally should just run the ball every time then. I guess that's what you think. Have you heard of a coverage sack. Don't you think he would have thrown it to one of the WR's if he saw him open instead of consistently being killed behind this patchwork offensive line? He tried to make a play but he can't do it all by himself. Just like the WR's can't do anything but get open and catch the ball if it comes there way. He needs help just like the WR's & RB's do.

This thread is not yet another debate over Jason Campbell. It is about play calling.
Our play calling is like a camel ...
... a horse designed by a committee.
We are ever sooooo screwed up.

For argument sake, the last two weeks, all they needed to do - at the end of the game - is get the defense off the field. I think that the defense has a better chance of doing that than the offense to make plays at the end of the game. But our team hasn't shown the ability to do either.
That's not really fair frank. Against Dallas we gave up 7 points. No way should a team lose when it gives up 7 points. And against Philly the offense had the ball in their hands late in the game and couldn't even get a first down, if I recall correctly. The defense has done more than its fair share for this team.
We shoulda won Philly..that was on the D. And let's not forget the 'legal' slam on JC on 4th down.
Oh really? Well our defense made the Eagles punt 6 times, picked off a pass, and when Jason Campbell threw two picks, our defense held the Eagles to 2 field goals. Ok, now lets look at what the offense did. You have Andy Reid who gambled at the start of the game with a onside kick and we had a short field to work with we got 7 points. Then on the pick that our defense created we ONLY could get 3 points. Other then those two gifts that had been handed to our offense what did this offense score? 14 points. And this offense had a chance at the end of the game to win this game and the again did nothing with it.

Who cares. We didn't lose because of our defense, we lost because our offense couldn't do anything with the ball other then the two gifts that we were handed to them, and the defense gave the offense multiple chances to score more points even one last chance at the end of the game.
