:hmm: So I guess being a fan means becoming the decider with the God's-eye view, who is all-knowing about whether a loss will help the team more in the long run than a win?

I like it better when fans support their team

Ah, the innocence of a child. Tabula Rasa. Root for your team without thinking of the implication of whether winning or losing will lead to us winning. I wish I still could still watch games without constantly thinking of which path, winning or losing, will lead to winning. Your naivete is refreshing my friend, even if it is, well, naive.

I'm with you, anyone thinking losing is the path to winning is just wrong.

I'm taking it one game at a time. Root for the Skins each week and focus only on that game. That's the only way to be an effective fan and not overlook someone, which can lead to disaster. Never over look anyone, taking it one game at a time is just as important for fans as players.

My dad and I (we always watch together) also like to take things one drive at a time. We often talk about what we want to see 'on this drive' — something positive, something that's just plain good football.

I still choose (A.)

Rooting for (D.) ain't a guarantee, just like Danny droppin his bug eyed enabler ain't a guarantee regardless of record. Matter fact, he's probably MORE likely to keep him since Vinny is probably only 1 of 3 people (Blatche and Portis the other two) in Ashburn who doesn't think he has a "Dark heart". lol

Because there is absolutley ZERO chance of A and B happening, I would have to say D only because it involves the little man getting out of the way.
RIP Sean Taylor. You will be missed.

Go onto Wikipedia and look at the drafts the last 10 years and see how many picks the Redskins have traded. It's absurd.

See what I'm sayin bro? We give away draft picks like free government cheese!!!!

I am rooting for D. It's the only possible way for Dan Snyder to make a change in his owner mentality. We will never get to another Superbowl with Snyder as the owner unless he comes to the full realization that he does not know what it takes to make a good football team, let alone one that can win the Superbowl.

Best case scenario IMO is that we lose all our remaining games(which is very likely btw), we blow up the team by trading everyone worth anything except Cooley, Thomas, Kelley, Haynesworth and Orakpo. We trade our top 2-5 pick for an extra 1st rounder next year(Denver, Seattle, San Fran and New England all have two 1sts I believe, not to mention, New England has 3 2nd rounders). Next year is probably going to be the best draft ever overall because tons of players are going to come out early because of the probable rookie cap in 2011. Not for best talent, but for most talent.

I would try to end up with 6-7 picks in the first 4 rounds and go for mostly OLine and one 2nd tier QB in there. We are actually in a decent position to turn this thing around quickly, especially since it's looking like the salary cap will be gone.

If Snyder doesn't figure this out quickly and the salary cap goes bye bye, we could be in for another 20 years of this type of team...

edit*

lol, just realized we don't have a 3rd rounder. guess I'd go for 5-6 in the first 4 rounds?...

this team drives me crazy...

Think Snyder will fire Vinny after a 8-8 or 7-9 season with a second half resurgence? Maybe he would, maybe he wouldn't... but after another 4-12 or 5-11 season? Since 2000 we're 68-83. This is a broken franchise why root for them to win a few meaningless games?

If Snyder can't see what the real problem is, that is his problem. Why are you so confident that a 3-13 year will be the cure?

How do YOU know it won't. 8-8 seasons haven't produced anything different on the field in 10 years.

With that said. I root for A, but hope for D
Miss you 21
