Randel El is gets paid like a number 1 and isnt more than a number 3. He also can't return punts anymore

Playing FS instead of SS doesn't excuse the missed tackles and the poor angles that he takes.

MDSKINSFAN wrote:And why such hate for Rock? Name a player on this team that played as hard as him on Monday night. You can't. Maybe he doesn't have the ability to return kicks all the way, but he does usually give us pretty good field position. I think it is time to stop blaming Rock for not returning kicks all the way. Blame the coaches who put him back there if you don't like him returning. He just goes out there and returns to the best of his ability when the coaches tell him to return kicks. Its the coaches decision to put him back there, not his. Just like ARE, I'm not mad at him anymore b/c he has proven that he cannot return punts but for some reason the coaches keep putting him back there. I know he fumbled and he always runs horizontally (which does irk me), and that is all on him, but he should have never been back there in the first place.

Agree 100%. I was (reluctantly) one of the people who thought it was time to let Rock go and find a replacement for him with a change-of-pace back. But I'm glad we kept him for at least this year. He has been solid, and is one of the few players showing up for work on Sunday.

Heyer irks me..always has. I don't think he can cut it in the NFL. He hasn't proven it yet, anyway, not to me.

huh? I think "irk" means to irritate or annoy.

I was looking over the list of options but I'm not really "irked" by any of these players you asked about.

I get a little irked by Santana Moss sometimes. I don't like the reception celebrations. Its not that I'm against players celebrating something. But its been a looooooooooooooong time since this team has been good enough to do that stuff. Try winning a playoff game or two, and then I'll enjoy a WR celebrating that he caught a 15 yard pass.

This is as contradictory a statement as I've seen in a while on here. Everyone seems to think we have all these "elite" plyaers, yet you blame the guy who put the team together. I am by no means suopporting Vinny Cerrato, but I think its time to look long and hard at some of the guys we got on this team and the effort they are putting forth. First and foremost, I would love if we unloaded LL in the offseason. The guy is the most over-rated player I've seen in a long time. He consistantly takes terrible angles on running plays as proved again Mon. night on the reverse, and when was the last time he actually made a big play? I'd rather go with Doughty & Horton. Hall is another loser who needs to go. That guy hasn't tackled anyone since he's come into the league, and last time I checked, tackling was important. Let me see Barnes or Tryon out there. ARE is another who needs to hit the road. He is an absolutley terrible punt returner, and he never looks to run after the catch anymore......start playing the younger guys as this season is obviously beyond repair.

...any player that has continued to go on the radio and done their radio shows amidst the turmoil going on this year.

I applauded the Jaguars for nipping the David Garrard show earlier this season. The next game, the Jags played lights out.

I love our guys, and I respect their opinions and am grateful for the insight. However, I think NOW is the time they need to put a gag order on the team, and work things out behind closed doors.

The dirty laundry should remain in house.

Sorry... I'm not feeling it.

'Po 3.5 sacks
'Dre 6.5 sacks
AH 3 sacks

that's 13... Big Al had a hand in most of them... either by penetrating himself, or by soaking up blockers leaving Carter or Orakpo 1 on 1.

London Fletcher is leading the league in tackles (71)... again, AH soaking up blockers, and keeping them off of Fletch.

There aren't many bright spots... and this is one of them.

Yeah... not feeling it.

I'm more worried about not using the defense right. Playing gap control with Haynesworth is crap. We aren't blitzing and we should be.

Oddly, in a season were the problems with management have been exposed, Heynsworth is one of the few high-priced free agents who have been as advertised.

Jason Campbell.

I can't believe a QB who plays with so little passion. I mean the guy has NOTHING!

Third and eight and the guy calls an audible to AN OFF TACKLE RUNNING PLAY????? How many four-yard dump-offs in that situation? How many hopeless scrambles? How many times has he tucked it away when you just KNOW he didn't get past his first read? If you're an NFL QB and you don't think your arm has been touched by God himself, YOU ARE DONE MAN!!!! SONNY JURGENSON SAID IT, AND IT'S TRUE!

The man has no fire and no desire to win. What's up with this guy? When was the last time we saw Campbell get mad, like a real player, like Moss or Portis? Jump up and down like Cooley? We get NOTHING!

Anybody ever see Joe Kapp play for the Minnesota Vikings? Before Tarkenton? That guy used to run like a freaking fullback and dole out PUNISHMENT to defensive backs. He'd nail a guy right in the face with the football just to prove a point. Take Brent Favre - he might throw interception after interception but the next series he's right back in your face - and he'll beat you. This is what winners do - kill you with persistence, passion, and skill. We had Campbell on the field in the red zone, he threw the ball away, made hopeless, half-hearted attempts to run, fumbled and bumbled the ball...

Take a chance for God's sake - even if it looks like there's nothing there - even if you take an interception.

If you get a chance, check out 'A Meeting of the Redskins Front Office' on youtube, it's freaking hilarious. I posted the link but it got removed, I guess because there's some profanity in it.
Wrong thinking is punishable.
Right thinking will be as quickly rewarded.
You will find it an effective combination.

I was wondering would you take him to start over Campbell? :D

Heyer I cant blame the kid. He was an undrafted free agent giving his all out there.
Haynesworth I love the way he plays. He is a certified animal. I do not think he is a human.

The player that irks me most is definatley Jason Campbell. It is one thing to play bad. It is totally another thing to lead the whole offense in a downward spiral. His bad body language is contagious and he needs to realize this.
Also not to mention the lack of confidence on the field.

I do not care how bad your line is. When you are the QB you have to lead with a positive state of mind. Or winners state of mind.
Come on JC get it together. You have all the tools. Just do it! Another thing the line didnt play that bad in the Eagles game.
There were times when JC step right into the defender when he had a perfect pocket already.
